We ordered The Carly, The Italian, a bonus bagel and a bag of chips and spent $50. The portion size of each sandwich matches the price but the flavor leaves room for improvement. The focus seems to be more on showcasing the meat rather than incorporating bold or balanced seasoning. Hospitality was warm and welcoming, though the cashier didn’t seem entirely familiar with the menu.
We’d return but make sure to add on the necessary additional toppings to add the flavor.

This spot is not only super hip it’s crazy delicious. Great value and most of all the team is super friendly and great customer service. You gotta hit up if you’re just visiting LA or looking for your next neighborhood staple!

Gotta give my honest review, ordered a sandwich the cashier took the wrong order not my fault” the 2 sandwiches where completely 2 different sizes when I opened them , the correct sandwich looked like it was made for a child (see photos) . For paying $19+tip for a mediocre sandwich was a literal SCAM. To call that an Italian beef sandwich is an insult. Not only that, the service terrible and fake . Lets just say i won’t be going back to Uncle Paulies….

It was delicious and just what I needed for lunch!
I had the chicken pesto sandwich which I HIGHLY recommend. Flavorful, crunchy, fresh and to perfection!
Also wanna give a shoutout to the lady at the counter, long straight brunette hair, she was so helpful and provided great service. So efficient in every move she makes and always ready to serve the next!
Go for the sandwiches, the service and the chill vibes!

Very cute mom and pops shop. Very proactive on having quality meats and cheeses. I love it! James is amazing and recommended a few turkey options to choose from. OMG! So delicious!

Got some good sandwiches here and they had gluten free options. I would give 5 stars but they got the order wrong for my wife and gave her a regular sandwich instead of gluten free so I recommend everyone be careful with what they order to make sure it is what you expect. The gluten free bread was eventually really nice but they need to be more careful with allergies.

This used to be a spot we ordered from quite frequently two years ago since we worked close by. In the area again and thought to give them a try. Honestly shocked to see in 2 years the bacon egg & cheese has increased from $11 to $16 ($19 on uber eats.)

Plenty of sandwiches and sides on the menu to keep you coming back. I think there is a surprising lack of Italian deli style sandwiches in this chunk of town. Ggiata may have a slight leg up with their chicken parm sandwich, but otherwise Uncle Paulie’s delivers big. A side of their hot sauce is nice and goes well with pretty much all the sandwiches. I still need to try more options there. They’re open for breakfast and lunch and tantalizingly close to open for dinner, but they close a little too early to be a realistic dinner option. There’s a little bit of dine in space.
