Had a very delicious light lunch at this restaurant in Gohtong Jaya. It has been around for many years and their food still keeps the standard. The price was reasonable but we didnt order any fish or other seafood so I can’t really tell.
It was quiet as we were there early , the restaurant was clean and service was attentive.

The restaurant was quite full when 5 of us arrived at around 1pm on a weekday recently which coincided with the school holiday. However, service was quite fast. We ordered fish, chicken, lala and 2 types of vegetables. Overall food was tasty. Bill came to RM210, inclusive of 4 plates of rice and a pot of chinese tea.

I would say the taste is good. Not over saltines. In sequence the dishes are wa tan hor, salted egg squids, house made toufu, long beans and black pepper sizzling pork. 5 dishes at RM 100 inclusive drinks (2 person). That’s a relatively fair price considering the location and recent hike in cost for everything in Malaysia.

The breakfast menu is very interesting. The curry potato pie and egg tart were very delicious. There are varieties of tarts (musang king, chempedak, chocolate, pineapple). Hainan coffee was good. The toast bread was so crispy and nice. The soft boil kampung eggs were fresh and big.

Ordered 3 dishes for dinner, it was overall quite good, the assam fish is quite appetizing, just that the sauce is quite diluted, thicker sauce will be much better. Beans taste good but slightly oily, and tofu is nice!
