Ate at their original location in West Palm years ago and wanted to try their new location in Delray. A funky building painted red and white strips.
Asked which was better, the hamburger or the brisket, told the brisket. So I ordered a brisket sandwich, chopped brisket that was a little chewy. I like where it melts in your mouth. The fries were good but lots of small bits and pieces.
Unfortunately not running back.

Absolutely loved this place! We had a smash burger and a brisket burger, and both were incredible. The smash burger was juicy with perfectly crispy edges, and the brisket was unbelievably tender and smoky. Everything was packed with flavor. Great vibes, friendly staff, and top-notch BBQ — can’t wait to come back!

Tropical Smokehouse in Delray Beach is the real deal. We had tender jerk chicken, fall-off-the-bone ribs, juicy burger, and killer sides (mac & cheese, fries, cornbread). Everything tasted fresh off the pit. Absolute must try BBQ spot! I’ll be back to try the brisket!

We are so glad my daughter stumbled upon Tropical Smokehouse, what an incredible find!
Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. The cheeseburgers were fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The brisket sandwiches were tender and smoky, cooked perfectly and piled high.
The French fries topped with cheese and scallions were next-level delicious, and I have to say… the hush puppies were a standout for me! That perfect balance of sweet and heat was done just right.
What truly made the experience even better was the staff. The employees were genuinely sweet and came over to check on us to make sure we were enjoying everything. That kind of sincere, attentive service really adds to the overall experience.
You can truly taste the quality and care in the food. From start to finish, it was a fantastic meal, and we will definitely be back the next time we’re in Delray Beach.

I’ve been a fan of TSH in west Palm beach for years and have had most of their items and also get their Thanksgiving take away feast, which is not to be missed. However, today I tried their smash burger at their new Delray beach location. First off, the location and set up reminds me of some of the funkier Texas BBQ joints I’ve been to, so hats off to them for doing such a realistic venue. Now, I am a smash burger fan and prefer them to the traditional thicker burgers served all over the place here in DRB. Let me not understate this, this smash burger was the best smash burger I have ever had, period, end of story. I ordered the double, with cheese and bacon, because when you go in…you go all the way in. The char and crispiness on the outside of this burger has no rival, that set the stage for an unctuous flavor profile, brought to you by their brisket and short rib blend. The bun, pickles, cheese, lettuce, tomato and bacon were all in balance. This was as good as it gets, notice the pic of the burger master putting his weight into the smash, that’s the sign of a true professional. If you prefer smash burgers over regular thick burgers, you have found Nirvana here.
PS: ordered the cornbread to take home for desert, very, very dense and rich, with corn kernels within, made from a heirloom corn…it was delicious

What a great addition to Delray! Smiling faces at the counter, easy menu & outstanding BBQ! We had a little of everything & shared…and used ALL the napkins because the sauce was saucing!

Tropical smokehouse is an awesome addition to Delray Beach! It’s the Best BBQ in Palm beach county! And the location on Atlantic ave is so convenient. Everything is so good and the food is high quality. The brisket, shrimp burger, and jerk chicken are top notch but my absolute favorite is the burger, it is delicious. Also be sure to try the mac & cheese and hush puppies with honey butter!
And the staff is so friendly and helpful! Gives the whole place a great energy!

Tropical BBQ is a great addition to the Ave. We’ve visited twice since they opened! Food is delicious!
They offer an excellent happy hour with $5 burgers and half off drinks if you sit at the bar. Milo the bartender was fantastic!

Delray Beach People. We tried a new BBQ place. Tropical Smokehouse. They have the BEST $5 burgers and 1/2 drinks for happy hour until 5:30. The BBQ smelled amazing and we can’t wait to go back and try the brisket and ribs. The meat is special sourced and so fresh. 5 different BBQ sauces. My favorite for dipping fries was the White BBQ sauce. Simple menu but amazing. Must try!
