We came here for our 1st night dinner at Napa. I had high hopes for the steakhouse . Unfortunately I can’t say I’m impressed with the food. My wife ordered the ribeye. I went for their $140 American Wagyu steak. The special appetizer beef tartar was excellent. But I can’t say the same for the main dishes. They were a bit over done (supposed to be medium rare and medium). It is difficult to see the value on the extra money spent on the Wagyu. The French Onion soup was too salty for our taste. Service was on spot and very friendly. I’m sure this restaurant has its following due to its legacy in the region. But there are others for us to try next time we are in town.

Celebrating our anniversary and wanted something special. Our whole experience was perfect, the food the service, and atmosphere’ Not your usual touristy trendy come & go restaurant. Candle light, and fireplaces, set the mood, and here comes the Caesar Salad, Sean was a master, an artist of presentation!
I was getting hungry watching each ingredient get added, delicious salad!
I had the New Zealand lamb chops. So tender perfectly cooked.
My wife had the Sea bass in a caper and citrus sauce we nibbled on each other’s dishes, the wine for the night was a Biale Zinfandel perfect, Bashar shared his selection of liquors, such a selection and loved trying different samples! What a great Anniversary dinner!

First off, I love Cordeiros. The service. The food. Special touches like tableside Ceasar Salad and the after-dinner drink cart. But Rutherford Grill’s ribeye is just higher quality. Went to both places in 2 nights. I would recommend Cordeiros and plan on returning.

This is a hi-end (I mean very expensive) steakhouse. The building and grounds are gorgeous, clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food and service is exemplary. We had a reservation and where seated immediately. Our meal started with raw oysters, they were fresh and sweet, came with little bottles of Tabasco, fresh lemon, and a delicious champagne vinegar condiment, I was surprised by the lack of horseradish (which is my preferred addition to oysters), but I enjoyed them nonetheless-the less. Next was the popular Caesar salad prepared masterfully table side, it was exquisite and an easy pick! I had the tomato cream soup with bit of crab meat, it was smooth and satisfying. The stars of the show were the steaks, my partner had the NY Strip, and was very happy with his choice. But really the highlight of the evening was my wagyu steak despite the outrageous price, it was melt in your mouth tender with a savory charred crust (close your eyes and softly moan). We had all tree steak sauces on the side and the were all good, but I found myself enjoying the stark without sauce most of the time. If you want an intimate experience & setting this is the place. Not as many tourists since it’s not too close to downtown Napa. Sean was great and had lots of experience in fine dining. The steak was the best I’ve tried! So tasty and delicious, mouth watering shall I say. Every bite was a mmm yummy

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and a welcoming staff. The food and service was phenomenal and we celebrated with our family for our anniversary and was even given a special dessert at the end of dinner. Highly recommend to anyone. A little pricey but for the type of food and quality it was well worth it.

This is the best steakhouse in Napa and it’s not even close. You’ll love the courteous staff service. The ambiance is amazing. I came during dinner time and while it was raining. So, I didn’t sit outside. I took a seat at the bar. I waited for my friend Ray. Apparently everyone there knows him, so I got the VIP treatment. I started the same as I always do at a new place: Clam chowder and an old fashioned. This was a top clam chowder… EVER. I’ve been all over the US and to 17 countries. This was so good. The prevention was very good for a soup. The old fashioned was very tasty with the perfect amount of sweetness, but still plenty strong. I ordered a poke salad (which isnt on the menu), along with a Rose wine. I dont care whats in season or not, I just love a good crisp Rose and this one was absolutely marvelous. The pour size was average. This poke salad is something of legend apparently. They only serve it when there’s fresh ingredients. So dont be disappointed if they dont have it upon your visit. It was dark, so the pictures didnt do it justice. Finally, I had the duck confit flatbread: Caramelized Onion ~ Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese ~ Red D’Anjou Pear. This was a masterpiece of flavors in your mouth. I couldn’t even finish it. I could tell it came from a wood fired oven and personally turned by the executive chef Marcos. He came out to our bar area to check on us. This is an amazing hidden gem just 7 minutes from Downtown Napa. It’s the kind of place that should be in the Michelin guide.

My husband took me here for my birthday and it was fantastic! Wonderful atmosphere, superb service and delicious food! They treated me to a complimentary dessert and after dinner drink, which was unexpected but much appreciated. We intend on returning and I highly recommend making reservations because this restaurant is a favorite among the locals!

I highly recommend Cordeiro’s Steakhouse for a great quality dinner. The wedge salad was very fresh and refreshing and the crab cakes were excellent. I ordered the Ribeye with peppercorn sauce and it was so tender and buttery and of course cooked perfectly (medium done)! Dessert had a great presentation and the service was exceptional as well. We loved the ambiance this place has and with different room settings as well. We’ll be definitely be coming back again!
