Stopped in Jackson for the night and found this wonderful restaurant. I had a marinara goat cheese appetizer that was so rich and just absolutely amazing. The goat cheese sliders were also fantastic and the carrot cake was one of the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Atmosphere was quiet and casual with lots of TVs. Service was top shelf as well! Ashley I think, sorry, but she was great!

I went to Bourbon & Barley with a friend for lunch and had a great experience. I ordered the crab enchiladas, and they were absolutely divine. My friend had the shrimp and grits and said they were the best she’s ever had. We also each enjoyed a margarita, which was well made. The service was wonderful, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The only suggestion I’d offer is to make the front of the restaurant a bit more visually appealing.

Was going to get the deviled eggs, but the waiter convinced me to get the duck egg rolls. They did turn out to be really good. I am sure the eggs would have been good. Got the ahi tuna salad. It was missing the avocado, but a quick mention to the waiter and he promptly went and got it and said the kitchen apologized for omitting it (forgot to take a photo).
Old Fashioned was nice too. Good size. Little on the sweet side, but definitely drinkable.

If you’re traveling through Tennessee, this place is absolutely worth the stop. The owner, Matt, was amazing and took the time to personally welcome us, which made the experience even better. The wait staff was kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect.
You can truly taste the difference here—everything is freshly made, from the goat cheese to the ranch dressing. Overall, an incredible experience with great food and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re passing through.

We stopped in Jackson for the night on a cross country road trip and once we got settled for the night, we decided to order from Bourbon & Barley. After looking at reviews, photos on Google, and the menu choices, we were excited for some yummy food after a long day on the road. I don’t normally write reviews, but Im really disappointed with the food I received. My fiancé got the classic sliders and his seemed pretty good. I chose the mix & match sliders with the bacon bleu, pimento cheese, and goat cheese as my choices. The only burger that came complete was the bacon bleu and it was pretty good! The pimento burger was just pimento cheese and a Patty. No lettuce, no

Toast tab forces you to select a modification for the mix and match, and because I didn’t want to change anything, I just selected my bourbon mayo on the side. There was no side of bourbon mayo included.
Just really bummed because I was so looking forward to a good meal after being on the road all day and this meal was not worth the money or the time to go pickup. I tried to call the restaurant twice to let them know about it but no one answered.
Not sure if it was just a bad night or if takeout just isn’t something they do well. I hope maybe this was a one off for future takeout customers, or at least constructive feedback to do better going forward.

Great Food on Sat night 06.14.25 with my sweetie and then had food catered by Bourbon & Barley on Sunday 06.15.25 for a Fun Family outing at Samuel T Bryant Distillery LLC! The food both times were delicious and savory! Our server Justice was excellent! He was very helpful with us ordering drinks dinner and with helping me order the food for our family event Sunday.
The only thing I would change is that I should have checked the sliders before leaving with my catered order as they all had mayo on them and I didn’t notice that until it was time for my family to eat. But all in all…a great restaurant with great food and customer service! We will be returning again!

Great service! The deviled eggs were delicious. The sliders were pretty darn good but the chili was not. My favorite tastes like Hormel out of can.

Tuna app was good but the wasabi vinaigrette was hot! get it on the side.

This place didnt disappoint. The food was fantastic! We didnt expect such a great experience from a little place tucked away. The waitress made recommendations, they were spot on. She was friendly and attentive. The egg rolls were absolutely delicious. Fresh, crisp and wonderful flavor. The pizza was outstanding. Not a typical pizza. My husband loved his Quesadillas. Said he would definitely get it again. Thats a big deal. My Husband is a retired chef. It makes it very difficult to go out to eat. Food is never the quality I can get at home. Definitely give this place a try you won’t be disappointed. The food is outstanding.
