Such a friendly and charming neighborhood spot in south town San Antonio. The cocktail menu is something you’ll want to return to often for continued exploration. Very inventive and creative pairings. The staff are attentive and the food is delicious as well.

Great service and great food. We came in around 5pm on a Thursday and it was pretty dead, but once 6pm came, it was very alive with almost all tables filled and the bar seats taken! Ray took care of us tonight and he was very on top of making sure our waters were never half full.
We ordered the two burgers which were fantastic. The fries sucked- they were unseasoned and tasted frozen. The tater tots were just okay.

Started with a TJs Hen house, which had a great Smokey Mezcal flavor. Then a gin number with strawberries that hit the spot. For food I had the brick chicken with a fried egg and bread pudding. Superb. Several in our party got the burgers and they all looked incredible.

We both had the Loretta burger and tots. Hands down the best burger I have had. The brioche bun was fresh, hot and soft. The burger was seasoned and juicy. The cheese was melted to perfection and the greens were crisp and delicious.

The service was excellent, very attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere was elegant yet cozy, making it a perfect spot for a night out. I always forget to take a before pic, but obviously I enjoyed the buffalo burger. Never had bison before, it was great! And paired really well with the Mac n cheese. Raymond was super nice! And so was the host that seated us. We came to recreate our first date and it was a lovely time.

However, I must mention that the service fell short in terms of attentiveness. While our server was polite, they seemed preoccupied and not fully focused on our needs. Despite the restaurant being moderately busy, I believe that their level of attentiveness should have been higher.
Nevertheless, I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious cuisine. The culinary expertise displayed in every dish is truly remarkable and guarantees a memorable dining experience. Just be aware that during peak hours, the service may not be as attentive as one would hope. Also, it was mother’s day, so this is to be expected, but the time between check ins was disappointing.
The charcuterie board was good, but for the price we feel more could be added, two cheeses seemed old. We highly recommend the pork belly, PHENOMENAL MAC AND CHEESE, and both burgers, also fantastic margaritas!

Perfect spot for our date night. From the moment we walked in—late on a Saturday with no reservation—the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and flexible. Ashley, our server, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
I had the pork ribeye, and my wife ordered the shrimp—both were delicious, with rich flavors and beautiful presentation. Between the great food, Ashley’s amazing service, and the cozy, intimate atmosphere, Bar Loretta made our night feel truly special. We’ll definitely be back for another date night soon.
