The carne asada (beef)street tacos were really good! My husband enjoyed breakfast fare, houveros rancheros, and was quite happy. The wall menu is a bit busy, maybe difficult to follow, but look closely (especially at the separate list of taco meats)) and you will most likely find something that makes you happy.

Has lunch here the other day Oct ’25 with my wife and brother visiting from Ireland. Absolutely delicious and fantastic value. We had 12 tacos and loved each one. Pollo, chorizo, lingua and carnitas ( chicken, chorizo, tongue and pork ).
Paper plates, paper cups. Well populated by some local hard working Latino men and several local students. ( Both good signs regarding food value ).
I will definitely return, hopefully often.

Santa Clarita has plenty of “chain” average Mexican restaurants, and not many good taco joints. El Pariente is an authentic hole in the wall restaurant with some killer tacos!

Food is def one of the BEST Mexican food in town. Food is very flavorful, filling and priced within reason. The service is quick and accurate, a plus for sure. Then to add, a place where you can get homemade tortillas is a gem for me!
