Stopped here on way to Aspen. The food is 100% authentic, amd DELICIOUS! The service was great, as well…and the atmosphere is culturally magnificent. It all looked and smelled delicious. It was packed at 11:30 AM on a Saturday morning, so I am pretty sure it is a popular establishment.

This is my new favourite mexican restaurant in Glenwood Springs! Not only is the food delicious, but it came out reasonably quickly even though it was busy.
I have lived here for years and never went, but I am so glad I finally did! Definitely a lesser known place since it’s not as close to downtown, but the prices seem better here as a result, and the staff were super friendly. When I lost my credit card, Ishmael(?) went out of his way to help me find it.
I will definitely be coming back for the daily specials again!

Taqueria El Nopal is a hidden gem! The food tastes truly authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The meats are perfectly seasoned, the salsas are delicious, and you can tell everything is made with care. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for real Mexican food, this place is definitely worth a stop.

I went to this restaurant on 11/02 for a pickup order, and the experience was really disappointing. The staff didn’t seem to pay attention and acted like they didn’t want me there. We even had to go back inside because they forgot to include the salsa we specifically asked for. When we politely asked for a couple more, they acted like we were asking for too much. Definitely not the kind of service I expected.

I was passing through Glenwood and remembered their Pupusas. Just as good as always! Glad I stopped in. Cashier not very friendly, she does her job well, though. I love their selection of sauces and items to add to my order. From mild to super spicy, something for everyone.

I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years and We only order the Tortas because they are the best thing you will ever put in your mouth! The margaritas are quite lovely and the staff are always very friendly. I highly recommend Taqueria’s Tortas with carnitas.
