We catered food from Bawarchi Biryani Frederick for our community Diwali celebration, and everything was absolutely fantastic! The delivery was perfectly on time, and the food exceeded everyone’s expectations.
We ordered Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken 65, and Onion Pakora, and many other items — all were flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The new addition, Okra Pakora, was a super hit and quickly became everyone’s favorite!
Highly recommend Bawarchi Biryani Frederick for any event or gathering — great taste, generous portions, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

We had a wonderful experience here. Hubby and I were spending a couple of days in Frederick, and our last night here we’re looking for a light meal. Indian food isn’t light but we could eat half and take half home. We had the 2 curries with rice and naan, hubby with spicy chicken and mine vegetarian. We both tried the wonderful potato curry, and tried each others’ chickpea and lentil daal. Everything was cooked to perfection. We managed to save half for when we get home (I find Indian food very filling) and we left feeling very happy with the whole experience.
It’s a place that looks like it’s mainly takeout, but there are tables for eating. Not fancy, but clean and the man at the cash was super nice, friendly and so accommodating.

Excellent Indian restaurant, Wonderful flavors across all the dishes I’ve tried. Everytime I order the food it is consistently delicious as well as fresh. Ordered catering for 100 people for our daughter’s first birthday and turned out to be the best decision. Every single dish was a super hit. Taste and Quality was beyond expectations.

I can’t say much to the actual restaurant or atmosphere since I normally order in, but the food quality has been so bad compared to our first time eating with every meal we ordered. I normally get the day tanka since it was my favorite but the last time I ordered it smelled and tasted burned, probably due to the black peppers in the meal. This time the day tanka was so watery it is unclear if there is actually lentils in there. The flavor is also super off this time. It has barely any flavor. Not at all what I ordered before. I used to love this place and I kept ordering thinking maybe it was an off day. Not worth the price given the quality of good. Not ordering again.

Bawarchi Indian Cuisine is hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve tried in Frederick. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the menu, making the experience even more enjoyable. Service was quick, and the prices were more than fair for the quality and quantity of food. Definitely give this restaurant a try!
