Stopped through here on a road trip and so glad I did! Fantastic burger and fries, great staff, food hot and fresh and delicious and insanely cheap! $12 for two people! If you’re passing through Crane, stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

It was a good, old-fashioned hamburger cooked on a flattop. Reminded me of drive-in burgers from days gone by. And, the onion rings and tater tots were crispy and flavorful. We will definitely be back.

Service was horrible!!!! Young man taking our order was RUDE! Order came out wrong, and when the order was ready the young man had the audacity to whistle at us like dogs to let us know our “food” was ready. Got our “food” all the burgers had mustard when we asked for mayo upon ordering. Chili looked like dogfood! And the smell of sewer will make you lose your appetite if you had one. We would have been better off going across the street and getting Alsups burritos!!

food is great but they need to update their website says it ooens at 10 does not open until 11am sit in parking lot for 1hr waiting for them to open had huge order people had to wait for lunch because i went off the 10am open on website

We were in Crane for a softball game. We drove to Howard’s Drive Inn 10 minutes before close. The lady didn’t tell us sorry we are closed. She welcomed us kindly took our order and made us delicious burger, fries and chicken sandwich! Amazing service and delicious food on late Monday night! We didn’t even wait that long! Filled our stomachs and warmed our hearts! If we are ever in Crane again Howard’s has our business!

And that’s not a lie ,
The double meat cheeseburger was so juicy and delicious, every bite was just like a burger should be .
This is the Best Burger in West Texas Small towns by far .

Just relocated to the area, and Howard’s is quickly becoming my Go-To choice. Service is great, and half-price burgers on Tuesday are a no-brainer.
