My family loves this place! Our favorite place at home closed a couple years ago and we have missed it. I have been looking for general tso’s tofu from a different restaurant since then. I was glad to see it on the menu! My husband ordered the pad thai, and my kiddos always get general tso’s chicken and sweet and sour chicken. This visit I got the wonton soup when I saw it at another table. It was great! We come here every time we visit Madison now.

It’s surprising how GREAT the food is, coming from such a small informal place. You order & pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Service was reasonably fast and the server checked on us at least twice. This was our 4th visit and the food has been REALLY good each time.

Great establishment it is one of the better restaurants in the area . The staff was very kind and accurate with the order . One thing though a person may miss the location because another eatery drapes in front of it with tables .

First time visiting after owner change and it’s not the same and doesn’t compare favorably to others I’ve been to. Flavors were bland and heavy with an oil flavor. Very disappointing. Will give another shot as they always been good but this visit was not good.

Not sure what has happened with Hong Kong Kitchen but the last two takeout orders we’ve had lately have been just awful. Pull it together, HKK. The orange chicken was literally like jerky, completely inedible. The Pad Thai was awful, too.
