La Palina is absolutely worth it! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean, well maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again!

I was just here the other day with my friend and had a wonderful experience! Not only was the food incredibly tasty (we even got a cup of free soup!!), but the service was fast and staff very welcoming! The owner of the restaurant even came up to our table to introduce himself/check in to see how everything was tasting, which I thought was so wholesome! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this location to anyone else!

Absolutely terrible! How does a Mexican restaurant not have queso? The food was so bland no seasoning what so ever. For my child I said MEAT AND CHEESE ONLY because ahes picky and wont eat and it was not just meat and cheese only and I guess the beef comes w tomatoes or whatever it was. And asked it the peppers would be cooked all the way only got onions no peppers after checking to make sure the papers would be grilled!

We came here six days ago for lunch time and the food was great! Steak nachos as an appetizer were filling and tasted so good. We had chicken Milanese which was excellent and a steak burrito platter which was full and flavorful. The flan was the freshest! Cecelia was so attentive and informative. We told her we would be back for margaritas on Tuesday.
Today we returned and the margarita was great. Steak nachos were excellent again! I had the full combination platter that had one of everything! Please see pictures. The soup is delicious too. I ordered the steak shrimp fajita platter that was so excellent and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Everything so flavorful as usual! Cecelia was so kind and helpful with our choices. She is the best! The tres leches cake was so well made and the flavors were spot on. We will be back as this is our new favorite place. The owner stopped by our table and we couldn’t say enough about how excellent the food and service were. He was pleasant and kind. This is a place we will visit regularly. Great food. Consistent flavors and service. Go Cecelia! Thank you!!! Clean and cheerful atmosphere and service. Bathrooms immaculately kept and the place looks great.

Used to be really good when on 105th Ridgeland many years ago. Tried them again with the family and was disappointed. Not only in the food, but the prices. I know inflation is a real thing but my family of 4, 2 adults 2 children, have never had a $200 tab on an appetizer, tacos, and 1 drink and such small portions. No free refills. No free chips and salsa. Extra for everything! That’s absurd. Unfortunately won’t be back.

Jerry the owner was phenomenal! Our server Cecila was great! She brought us everything we wanted or needed. The food was fresh and delicious Everything was excellent, the prices are very reasonable and the margaritas were exceptional! I will definitely be returning to try different menu items. I ordered the combination platter. The service was excellent and you can taste that the food was made with love.

It used to be a failing pepe’s restaurant.. The new owners ran the same concept but it doesn’t even taste as good as pepes… It’s very bland. The hot sauce isn’t even hot… It cost just as much as pepe’s and it doesn’t taste as good…bland, bland bland. This is the second time i’ve been there and this is even worse than the first time… I tried to contact management.They never even responded… Nothing personal but.
This is not a good restaurant… At least the people in the kitchen were not swearing this time…

I appreciate the extended opportunity, however i contacted their website directly when I i initially had an issue. My first experience at this establishment after they were open for more than two months.. I was.
With a party of four people…. We received our drinks after we ate… There was continuous swearing in the kitchen… The modifications to our food orders that we specifically asked for were never made… i contacted their website directly… They never responded.. I’m not going to go through the efforts over again.When they fail to realize my initial concern… If you sincerely express interest in corresponding with me. Look at my initial complaint. This is some serious management issues here from what i can gather. Best of luck

The service is always amazing! The owner also takes the time to talk to you. This is the second time at this location and we loved it both times! I got the shrimp taco with cabbage with a sauce which was amazing. I didn’t think I would like it but it was great! My boyfriend got the steak taco dinner and he loved it and my mother got the fiesta combination and she thought it was amazing! This time, I got combination 4, my mom got combination 3, & my boyfriend got combination 1. We thought it was amazing! I normally do not like refried beans and it’s amazing here! Allso when talking to the owner, they don’t use as much pork lard and most Mexican food places are really greasy and this place was not greasy at all, yet very flavorful! I recommend getting the salsa that is hot… they have a regular mild (when they serve) but we like the spicy Chunky salsa. We will continue to keep coming back!
