Tanya’s Cafe – A Cozy Culinary Gem for Delicious Mexican Comfort …
Reviews
Our go-to order is the chilaquiles with chorizo and the chilaquiles with al pastor, and they are always incredible. The flavors are rich, perfectly balanced, and you can tell everything is made with care. The chorizo has the perfect kick, and the al pastor adds such a delicious twist that keeps us coming back.
Another highlight is their coffee. It’s honestly top notch smooth, fresh, and the perfect start to the morning. Pairing a great cup of coffee with an amazing breakfast in such a comfortable environment makes the whole experience even better.
What we appreciate most is the feeling you get when you’re there. It doesn’t feel like just another café it feels like a place where people genuinely care about their food and their customers. The atmosphere is homey, sweet, and welcoming, and it’s the kind of place you look forward to visiting again and again.
If you’re looking for a breakfast spot with amazing food, great coffee, and a cozy family atmosphere, Tanya’s Café is truly a gem. My wife and I will definitely keep coming back.
but honestly, it just wasn’t a good experience for me.
The food came out cool, and everything just kind of felt off from the start.
The table was a little sticky the salt and pepper shakers were sticky too…and the creamers were sticky and dirty.
and the whole place just felt a little outdated. The decor didn’t really make much sense to me not that it matters lol who am I to judge??? but it just added to the weird vibe.
Our waitress was kind but she rushed us from the moment we sat down like she was ready for us to leave before we even got our food. We didn’t even get a “hey how are you”
It made the whole experience feel uncomfortable.
ordered the 2x2x2, a croissant sandwich two coffees, and two orange juices (which was really
Good) the menu had some funny names for the choices but that’s about it
and somehow the total came out to around $80, plus tip which honestly shocked me.
For that price I expected something a lot better like:..hot food, maybe not a rushed experience ??
I was ready to go before I even finished eating, and that’s not how I want to feel after breakfast.
Good looking croissant, never got a chance at it so it must have been awesome.
Get the potatoes as a side, they are baked, cut in half and fried and it is magical.
Juice was really good too.
Place is pretty small, but they spread out onto the patio. I didn’t see mimosas or anything on the menu so I’m guessing they don’t sell booze.
I feel like the prices were at the top end of what I would pay for breakfast, but it was all so good, i can’t say I was upset. We will probably be back.
Our server Pau was very patient as we waited for our last 2 in Party. Five of us total found a perfect table in this small place. Got there just after opening, but filled up quickly. There is outside seating, but with early morning traffic we decided best to be inside.
Food is pricey, but price for quality made it reasonable. Total cost before tip $95.80 for five adults. Only thing I didn’t agree with was the $4 basic cup of coffee.
I added menu so you can easily see prices.
I added pictures of food so you can see the quality/amounts.
Building was clean, only one bathroom, nice size tables.
Parking lot will not accommodate an RV of any type.
There is a lady there who was available for signing for the deaf.
