This is absolutely the best Mexican food my wife and I have had. The meat and even the tortillas are exceptionally flavorful. I can’t say enough how much we prefer this place to any other Mexican restaurants.
Sometimes, it can be too warm or too cool inside, but if you can’t deal with that you should still get the food to go. It’s worth it.

This place is a Sunday night favor for my wife and I. It’s more authentic than most Mexican restaurants and absolutely a favorite of the locals. Very good Carnitas and Carne Asada and truthfully, we’ve never had anything that we didn’t care for. My absolute favorite is there green taco sauce, the only place I know I can find it in town.

I was not feeling Las Pedritas…EL Agave in Downtown Florence SC is definitely more worth your time…Also, there is an El Agave “2” but the one downtown has better food and it’s hotter when it arrives to your table

Im not sure why the rating here isn’t higher. We are locals and eat here frequently and this restaurant is one of only a few places that have been extremely consistent with food quality. Not only that but their recipes and cooking ability is superior to any of the typical Mexican places. I’m assuming people want a particular atmosphere or perhaps there have been issues as admittedly they seem to run on a small staff. Having much restaurant experience I can look past that personally. I will say this as the bottom line; you go out to eat for the food and you cannot get better Mexican food in Florence than this restaurant and they are remarkably consistent in a time where we find that the vast majority of restaurants are not.

Food was no where as good, when it was Jennifer’s Restaurant. Tried to over charge for lunch item, when we asked for lunch menu. Then the front check out didn’t apologize for error. Then told us to leave the tip on the table, when my server was the one checking us out.. never going again.. even the music was bad, two different songs playing at the same time..
