Ate dinner here with a party three. Fish and chips and two ruben sandwiches. The Chicago egg rolls were good but a little too greasy for my tastes. “Best fish and chips I’ve had in a while” said my companion. “Phenomenal” said my other guest about their ruben sandwich. Our waitress was experienced enough to be attentive without being obtrusive. The atmosphere is also very nice with lots of wood paneling, bar and a fireplace with smatterings of local nick-nacks. Highly recommend.

We came here December 13 for lunch. Our server was very attentive and it has that old Irish Pub look with plenty of TV’s for sports.
The food was hot and everything but the French fries you could tell were hand made. From the sausage leek soup, chicken strips which was a huge app with fries and Chicago’s egg rolls (Italian beef cheese, and Giardiniera) which I highly. The fish and chips which was our other order was nicely breaded. Not too thick, not too thin.
I would highly recommend this location.

Cool pub in the burbs with good food and ok service. I’ve been a few times and the food is fine. I’ve tried the Reuben, buffalo chicken sandwich, and the smash burger. I’d recommend this more as a watering hole but if you need a snack you have it.

I had the Reuben Fritters and Irish Stew. Both were phenomenal. Excellent service. Beautiful pub. Planning a trip back in the future. This place is an absolute gem! I highly recommend it if you are anywhere near. We drive out of the way on a hunch and we’re so glad that we did!

The Irish Legend is everything you want in a classic Irish pub! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of character. The bartenders were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home with top-tier service from the moment we walked in. The Cottage Pie was absolutely delicious—rich, savory, and perfectly comforting. Service was prompt and professional, and the entire experience felt like a genuine taste of Ireland in the heart of Chicagoland. If you’re looking for an authentic Irish pub with amazing food and outstanding service, look no further than The Irish Legend. Highly recommend!

Really cool place. My kids and I enjoy any and everything paranormal, and when we heard about this place we decided to take a trip. The bartender was awesome, telling us some stories of her paranormal experiences, and gave us some history of the place. Then some patrons were at the bar and one came over and told us some more. Very nice people. Ordered the Calamari, Chicken Tacos, Legend burger, and Mushroom Swiss burger. All Amazing, my daughter who is the pickiest eater of them all loved the chicken tacos. Burgers were prepared perfectly and were absolutely amazing. Calamari was also very good, just wish the portion was bigger for the price (photo attached is after we started eating some). I’m not a big beer drinker but I ordered the Maplewood Krispie Cakes on tap, and I might come back just for the beer alone. All in all, amazing experience, wonderful service, and we will be back for the ghost tours around spooky season.

Nice place off the beaten path. Came here for drink and ended up getting their spinach and artichoke dip and wings. Both were great. Service is good with friendly smiles. Very welcoming place. And yes bartender spoke in Irish accent, very cool. Come and have some fun here. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Great Irish pub fare, and a beer selection on tap to rival some big suburban places. I will definitely be here again. And, though they don’t mention it, the place is a historical Al Capone hangout. If you’re looking for that cool historical vibe
