As the 1st time, I had chicken& veggies with fried rice plus an eggroll. Lots of meats and veggies in the plate, including mushrooms which tasted very good. Everything was fresh in my case, the meat very tender. The pork fried rice was tasty and the quantity of meat was generous. The only minus was in the sauce, did not like it so much and it was too thin or sloppy. Other than that, good food. The place seems old, but clean and service is very fast and the price is hard to beat.
Update: Second time: The Lo Mein Shrimp is shockingly small, tiny and very few pieces. The noodle and rice had good taste, but no shrimp in the combo menu.
Not sure if I will get back . Glad I haven’t bought any food for somebody else, I would have felt so ashamed to give this food to them.

If you want a lot of peppers and onions with 6 or fewer small pieces of steak. Order the peppered steak & onions. The flavor was good. I just wasn’t even full after eating it, considering i only like the flavor. The peppers and onions give the meat.

Order was to go for 4 different people 3 out of the 4 said their food was not good. Bland, no flavor, worse Chinese food we have had in quite some time. 2 of the people had been here 4 months ago and said they thought it was good which is why we order from there again. Those 2 stated that it was nothing like last time they were there.

Food is so damn good, I could eat every day. Clean and plentiful. All at a good price. And the customer service is truly Golden. I highly recommend this gem on Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville Florida.

This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve had. My expectations for take out Chinese aren’t very high but this place was the best value and quality. We live near king wok which is convenient and I usually get sesame or sweet and sour chicken. I always get an upset stomach for 1-2 days after – I thought it was just cause it’s fried and I usually eat all of it. HOWEVER: after eating this place I could tell the texture of the chicken was better. It wasn’t chewy or stringy. It tasted like real chicken. Best part was I ate the whole thing and didn’t get sick (not sure if that’s related but…). We got two combo plates, soup, spring rolls and dumplings (which were delicious) and it was $40. It’s an extra 5 minute drive but I’m tell you, if you need to scratch that Chinese food itch – do it here.

Had a pretty rough day so I decided to splurge and try this place out. I got the general Tso’s and some crab Rangoon. I asked in the comments section if they could spare any extra broccoli.
Came home, opened the sucker up, and saw the first photo. Which I couldn’t even be mad tbh just had me laughing for a good while because yknow what, same. Plus I admittedly put in the order less than an hour before they closed so this is really my own fault lol understandable.
EXCEPT as it turns out they pulled through for me and had a whole bunch stuffed underneath the chicken.
11/10 thanks for the laugh and extra broccoli haha. Not to mention the food was really good, absolutely perfect Chinese takeaway comfort food. Everything was hot and fresh. And the crab Rangoon tasted delicious!!

Decided to go to golden china for lunch with my husband. The food was good but not like I remembered. There’s was so much sauce and my beef and brocolli was waaayyy tooo tender, the flavor is good but the texture was a bit different. The friendliness, speed and service was always great!
