Amazing place. I was staying in Trinidad for two nights, towards the end of a four week US road trip, and this place served my favourite of the 30 or so breakfasts I had on the trip. Super food (portions not too large and several vegetarian options), served by friendly staff. Proper coffee too! The decor is extraordinary and a great place to browse while waiting for your breakfast to be made, fresh. Highly recommended .

Here is a pretty nice place to eat for lunch. A fairly varied menu and the ingredients were top notch. A few seats outside. Business appeared clean and the service was pretty quick. I would stop in for lunch again without hesitation.
Cafe is downtown so parking can be iffy sometimes.

We stumbled across this cafe last week and didn’t go inside. I had to comeback to Trinidad and while walking around the sign for the ham sandwich caught my eye. l went inside and found a quaint place with friendly staff. The sandwich was different and delicious! Smoked ham, berry jam, & havarti cheese all melted together! And it came with a side salad of mixed greens. I highly recommend this cafe. They also serve coffee ☕

On a road trip and wanted to get away from fast foods. The chicken salad sandwich was awesome! It came with a fresh side salad. I also had the tomato basil soup which was the perfect temperature and bled. We will be back when in the area!

A terrific place for dynamic sandwiches that will satisfy your deepest hunger. Great atmosphere inside in the comfy booths and the Cafe crew works fast and efficiently, bringing our order to our table in mere minutes.

As a person of color, I did not receive friendly service from the owner/server during my recent visit. While the Black Forest Ham sandwich was phenomenal, the owner was quite rude to my friend and me while taking our order and when we were preparing to leave. She actually raised her voice to say, “Don’t throw those in my trashcan!” She was referring to the two glasses of ice water we had. We had no intention of throwing the glasses away and were trying to place them on her counter to keep her from having to bus our table, being that we were the last patrons.

Unfortunately, I experienced several instances of unwelcome during my two-day stay in Trinidad. My feeling is this town is not particularly fond of visits from people of color.

My favorite lunch in Colorado. Ave Maria sandwich is divine. Side salad is fresh and yummy. We’ve stopped here for lunch a dozen times and the food is consistently amazing. Staff are kind and friendly to out of town folks and locals alike. Cash only. Free WiFi.

Delicious food! The owner was the sweetest lady ever. Super friendly and talkative, extremely welcoming! She was also working pretty hard since it was fairly busy and she was the only one managing the place.

I ordered the tomato basil soup and it was delicious! It came with flatbread to dip in and that was also fantastic. It was extremely hearty and yet light. Super filling! I was surprised to hear after talking to the owner that the locals don’t come in very often. Super disappointing to hear, since this was such a cute little gem with good food. Definitely worth a stop in for a sandwich or brunch/lunch.

Easy street parking. Really cute restaurant with original wood floors and some exposed brick. Cute tables and booths. Booths have adorable chandeliers. Order at the counter, then choose a seat, and food is brought to you. I had The Butcher, which was recommended by the counter server. It came with a salad. I grabbed a bag of chips, as well, and had the homemade lemonade to drink. The sandwich was amazingly fresh and so flavorful – a perfect medley of sweet and salty. You could taste every element. I’ve never had anything like it, but it all came together so well, and the ciabatta bread was divine. A spring salad with carrots and parmesan and a basalmic vinaigrette was the perfect accompaniment! The lemonade was delightful – not too tart and not too sweet. I’ll be back to try other items when I am back in town. Lovely food and experience!
