Came here to celebrate my birthday with friends, and Catalina did not disappoint. To start off, our server Matt was awesome. So helpful, patient, and answered all of our questions (and we asked A LOT). He truly made the night memorable.
Now let’s talk about the drinks and food. I got the espresso martini and the Stay Cool Baby…both were delicious, but the Stay Cool Baby was my favorite. Super refreshing and strong, just how I like it. For food, we split the French fries, Brussels sprouts, and the crispy wontons. Everything was flavorful, but the star of the night was definitely the Brussels sprouts which was the perfect amount of crispiness and spice.
For my entrée, I had the seafood tagliatelle, which was a great suggestion from Matt and equally as amazing. It was super flavorful but not too heavy, and best of all, you could taste how fresh and high-quality the ingredients were.
Beyond our amazing server Matt, we had several team members check on us throughout the night to make sure our water glasses were full, and they even bagged up our food for us. If you’re celebrating something special or just want a place with incredible food and hospitality unlike any other, Catalina is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Stumbled upon this place and SO glad we did. Sat at the bar. The deviled eggs were interesting– like a deconstructed, deviled egg salad.
The mahi tacos were excellent – I got a side of clam chowder and it was so fresh and hot – not overly heavy/creamy.
The lobster shrimp roll was stuffed to the brim – loved the fresh herbs.
Looking forward to coming back to try their happy hour! Very pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic spot in clt! The food, atmosphere, and service are top notch. Loved the burrata appetizer and fries. Tuna was fresh and delicious and drinks were tasty. Highly recommend and the price for value is amazing for the city. Most places like this in CLt are overpriced and hyped. Catalina crushes it. Will be back

We set up reservations at 1:15, arrived at one, didnt get wat until 1:41 so a little slow on that. Understand wanting to sit 4 tops and such as walk-ins before a 2 top, but sometimes you gotta draw the line and observe those who made reservations. Anyways, the place is nice and clear and well-maintained. Bathrooms well maintained and kept. Bar area is nice, and the inside feels large for being small. Our waitress was very attentive and the service was good, the low stars was having a reservation and being sat after 5 parties walked in after us, sit happen to be bigger tables. The place is LOUD, I think its the empty ceiling and glass too hard wall ratio. The food was pretty good and fair priced for the portions and ingridents. The ranchers bowl was a good start too the day. The breakfast burrito also hit the spot. We just had coffee this time. We will be back, no bad taste in the mouth or anything, just please honor reservation. Staff was very apologetic, and we didn’t scream or fuss, just stood around for like 40+ mins waiting.

Had dinner here on a Friday night. We were 10 minutes late for our reservation, having underestimated the traffic, and were still seated immediately. Restaurant was busy. Hostess and Server were both friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. For cocktails we had the Barrel-Aged Oaxacan Old Fashioned and the Blackberry Bramble. Both were good – but the Oaxacan OF was the fav – so good. They had a happy hour special so we also tried the Spicy Ahi Tuna. Our server suggested getting the sauce on the side so we could control our spice. I’m glad she did! This was an excellent starter – great flavor and we really enjoyed the combination of guac with ahi. For mains. We had the Short Rib Pappardelle and the Rigatoni alla Vodka with Spicy Italian Sausage. Both dishes were delicious! For dessert we tried the Peanut Butter Pie. It was good – though very decadent with the chocolate crust and sauce. I loved this restaurant and am looking forward to eating here again!

Came here for brunch for my friend’s birthday and everything was absolutely amazing. We started off with two bottles of wine and the Spicy Ahi Tuna and Parmesan fries. It was five of us and that was a perfect start. The Tuna is really spicy but the Guacamole helps to cool it down and enhance to overall flavor. The fries were delicious as well. For the meal I got the Shrimp and grits and it was perfect. The grits were creamy and the flavor in the sauce paired really well with it. Everyone was happy with their meals. I can’t remember our waitress name but she was sweet and gave exceptional service.

10/10 will come again! First time here for a galentines dinner and our server was phenomenal. The restaurant is so cute they also validate parking! They had a drink special for 11$ certain drinks and they were delicious. I got the short rib pasta and I will definitely be returning to order it again. For apps we ordered the deviled eggs, Parmesan fries, and the bread which didn’t disappoint! Overall phenomenal experience. Recommended to all my friends.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Catalina Kitchen on Monroe Road in Charlotte, and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Every dish we tried was a true experience, from the comforting chicken noodle soup to the fresh raw oysters. The cocktails were also exceptional, perfectly complementing the meal. The shrimp and lobster roll, Caesar salad, crab cake dinner, and seafood tagliatelle were all outstanding. Our waiter, Paul, was an absolute gem, and it was such a pleasure meeting one of the co-owners, Paul, as well. We can’t wait to return, and I highly encourage everyone to give Catalina Kitchen a try. oh one more thing the Beet salad even though it not concider a beet salad it to die for.

Went there for some cocktails and dinner before heading to event. Had an amazing experience!!! I can’t rave enough about this place. Everything was absolutely divine! Had the espresso martini 10/10. The Parmesan fries as an appetizer incredible and the rigatoni pasta with sausage was to die for! The service and atmosphere was all around amazing as well!! All around great experience! I would recommend to anyone
