Went early morning, shortly after opening. Got the fried chicken and waffles with eggs and home fries. Eggs cooked to my liking, home fries were really good. Not overseasoned, soft/crispy. Fried chicken was the absolute best. Best I’ve had I’d say. Crissssspy, fall off the bone. Seasoned just right, plenty of flavor throughout. Waffle was wonderful too, waited a bit long to eat it and it wasn’t as crunchy, but still very good. Soft inside and the strawberry butter was delicious.
Very friendly waitress, only a handful of people. Took my order fairly quick. It did take a little longer then I’d like to get my food but there might of been some miscommunication at the kitchen.

This was our first time here! Wife got the little bit of everything breakfast and I got the meat lovers omelette. We were greeted with a smile, service was with a smile. Food was hot and fresh too. The atmosphere was great, everyone was just having a good time here. The food has HUGE portions I could hardly finish this.

This hidden gem is located in a small strip mall in Lakeland, Fl. Our server Brianna was cool, calm, and respectful. She stated that many people do not even know they exist. Well, I am glad we stopped by, only because my girlfriend wanted their banana pudding.
We were extremely pleased, when we came to find out, they have all day breakfast and lunch. I had the juicy fried chicken benedict with crispy made homes fries. My girlfriend got the perfectly seasoned meatloaf, green beans, and mash potatoes paired with a side of savory gravy. Outside area was spacious, having two fans to cool it down. Metro Diner Lakeland really reminded me of a good home cooked meal. Tell them Joyous Helping Hands sent you!

I’ve ordered from this location twice through UberEats. My food always arrives FRESH and HOT! They always include utensils, and the proper order with no food missing. My first order was the Fried Chicken Plate with fries and cole slaw. I had them to put the gravy for the chicken on the side because I wanted to make sure I liked it. My first order (not pictured), went so well that; when I opened the container with the fried chicken…I just went to town! No evidence. Sorry. My second order was also AMAZING! I ordered breakfast and I got the steak and egg bowl. The Hollandaise sauce is sooooo goood! Next time, I need to order extra. The steak pieces were tender and the eggs were just so fluffy.

Brianna was our server and she was very friendly and had a wonderful chat with us, and made us feel very welcome. Our food was amazing! I got the fried chicken Benedict and the chicken tenders were perfectly crispy, juicy and flavorful I don’t get blown away by chicken a lot but this was perfection. The dish as a whole was divine. Everything from service to food was perfect, we’ll be back soon!

We had brunch and it was very flavorful. My husband ordered the avocado toast and added eggs and I ordered the eggs and steak bowl with a hollandaise sauce and blueberry pancakes. A regular mimosa and coffee. They also have mimosa flights for 9.99 which is great and I may order that next time.

Saturday breakfast was really good. I had the chicken fried steak eggs Benedict and it was amazing. My wife had the San Francisco Eggs Benedict. This was our second time here and one of the best things is the food comes out hot and I loved it. I would recommend it for breakfast or lunch.

Absolute gem for breakfast/lunch!! One of the best ran restaurants that I’ve been to. Service is phenomenal and the food is to match. Owner/Manager was on top of everything and ensured everyone was taken care of. Working in restaurants growing up I appreciate this. The banana pudding bread pudding was icing on the cake.
