Best fried fish and garlic shrimp I’ve had in a long time. Excellent service, feels very Mom&Popish. The server was attentive and the manager passed by and made sure everything was ok. We went for Mother’s Day lunch and we got free sangria, which was a plus 😉

I don’t do reviews often, but this one was a must. My mother in law was in town and we wished to spend a good time. We stopped by Los Roques Gourmet and ordered a special “Pargo Frito con Fosforera” and a “Lomo Asado”. Karen was the waitress, she new the menu by heart, quick, and so polite that invited to relax and enjoy the meal. The pargo was so, but so good, that we ordered another one. It was the most delicious fish we have eaten. The lomo asado was also great, but the fish is just unbeatable. We literally ate up to the bones. We felt so well that we met and thanked the owners Rafael and Belkys. We learned they had specials during the week, so we will work around our schedules to make sure we stop for a great meal. We live in Miami for years, and this restaurant is a great discovery

If you’re looking for an authentic Venezuelan experience this is the place. Food is amazing, service is amazing. And it really made me feel like home. I haven’t been to Venezuela in 10 years and this brought me back.

Great service and a unique combination of VERY fresh and VERY affordable food.
For instance, the lunch special is $10.99, unbeatable price for soup, entree and the most delicious dessert I have ever had.
Come and try it for yourself

Los Roques in Doral is a fantastic dining experience from start to finish! The fried pargo was a standout—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fried yuca and tostones complemented it beautifully with their crispy texture and rich flavors. The fosforera soup was an unexpected delight—bursting with seafood goodness and so satisfying. I’ve also tried the cazón and fish soup on several occasions, and they always exceed expectations.
The drinks were equally impressive! The papelón con limón was wonderfully refreshing, and the maracuyá juice had the perfect tropical balance.
The ambience truly sets this restaurant apart. With lively music and tasteful decor, it’s a place that instantly puts you in a good mood. Rafael, the owner, is amazing—he makes sure every guest feels at home and well cared for.
If you’re craving authentic Venezuelan cuisine in a vibrant setting, Los Roques is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This place I had review as a 5 2 years ago. I went today and it is pretty sad, the service was awful no courtesy whatsoever. I had a sopa de gallina and I found it disrespectful for that to even be served and the price that was charged for it was even more outrageous of 7.50 for less than 10 gram of chicken and the size of a creme brulee ramekin. It is sad see a place that was so good get so greedy from their repackaged water bottles served to you by default when I specified tap water. The picture is below btw that is not a coffee spoon it is a big sized spoon it barely fits the Plate.

I was having my manicure done at an establishment in Doral, I always go there every two weeks and the owners always get the empanadas from this Restaurant. I always get the carne desmechada, today I got the empanada cazon that has fish. The moment I took a bite I went straight to the bathroom to throw up. The smell was so strong that I couldn’t contain myself. That’s not the worst part of the story, The owner of the establishment where I was having the service done call the owner of Los Roques to give him my complaint After he smelled the empanadas And understood why I reacted the way I reacted. You could smell how rancid the fish was. The owner of Los roque blamed me of having the flu or being sick and that’s why I reacted the way I reacted, and he also told the owner of the establishment where I was that he’s always giving issues, saying that he’s always giving different types of complaints, even though he asked to speak to the owner of the restaurant as a friend to tell him to take out the fish empanadas so nobody else would get sick. The owner of the restaurant got so offended, even though his friend was literally trying to help him out. To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody specially after the type of way the owner reacted I am so disappointed, even though their other empanada was really good.

For the money I paid here, I could have better food anywhere else. Terrible! Sooooo tiny portions and when I called to complain, they didn’t care.
