Great spot and if the weather is nice you can enjoy food and drinks right on the water. We did lunch on Sunday and got lucky enough to have a perfect day. We had the Dog Island Margarita, which was very good, and the Russell’s Bourbon Peach Smash, which was just okay – however the waitress was honest to indicate that they were low on peach so that’s probably why the drink wasn’t as ideal as it could have been. This was the day after the Claws Crawl so it’s understandable that they might be out of a few cocktail ingredients. We shared the Carolina Cuban which is a must get! Opted for the Greek pasta salad which was a bit overdressed. Lovely waitress checked on us as needed, was honest about the drink situation. You know it’s a fun place when you walk in the door and the manager greets you with a joke about needing a reservation because it was a slow Sunday. He also checked on us at the end of our meal to make sure that we had been satisfied.

I was in town as part of my quest to visit all 100 counties in NC, and I was glad I took the recommendation to stop in for dinner. The views were spectacular from the patio and I had some great black bean nachos. I love visiting in the off season. Parking can be a little confusing in the area, and varies by season.

I’ve been here before multiple times with my husband and kids and so we brought my parents here for dinner. This will most likely be our last visit after how terrible the service was tonight. It was a slow night and I raved to my parents about how delicious the potato salad is, which it is. We asked about them selling larger portions of potato salad to take home. They told us they had $12 pints. We decided to get two to take home. The waitress put on a 20% gratuity to the two pints that were put on a separate order and transaction. When we questioned why there was a tip for two separate to-go items the waitress Tiffany acted completely annoyed and gave attitude about the issue. After probably 7-10 minutes of her in the back room she finally gave a corrected receipt without the tip. We got home to only find out that the two “pints” were not even full pints and one cup was only half full. An extra side with your meal is $3.99. We technically only got 3 side portions in comparison and spent $25 after tax. So the bottom line is DON’T buy a pint! Just order 2 sides because you’ll come out with the same amount and pay less money!! Complete scam, rip off!!

Also our waitress didn’t ask if we needed refills at any point with our dinner and only attended to us to take our orders and collect money, otherwise was primarily in the other room kicked back on her phone, extremely disappointed in the service and experience my family had.

I went here for dinner while on vacation in Beaufort. Our server was very nice and we were seated immediately. I went for a late dinner that was probably after the rush and got seated along the water. I had the Southwest Chicken Wrap with a side of Bacon Chive Cheddar Potato Salad. The food was delicious! I’m not sure about pricing and if it was compatible to other restaurants in the area, but I would come back again if visiting Beaufort again.

We ate here last night with some old friends. Once again, the service and setting are good, but the food is always just “meh”. I’m never going to pick QAR for a meal if someone asks where should we eat? I had the Southwest chicken wrap and it was more filler veggies and sauce than chicken. I still don’t understand why they don’t offer French fries as a side. I got the pasta salad for my side and it was drowned in Italian dressing and one measly black olive. The friend to my left had the crab cakes and he said they were “just barely OK”. The best looking thing I saw last night was a Reuben sandwich. There are much better food options in Beaufort with a view like the Rhum Bar or Blacksheep.

Went for lunch and was seated immediately. Server was very polite and happily answered all our questions. I had the Carolina Cuban sandwich with potato salad. Both were very good. The wife had the Southwestern Chicken Wrap with a tomato cucumber salad. Wait time was very minimal. Server made sure our drinks were full. We will definitely return when we come down to the Beaufort waterfront.

Just a short walk from the Maritime museum with relatively easy seating available when we went to the queens Anne’s Revenge restaurant. Oh there are plenty of options located near the museum and we are glad we came here. With small kids wanting pizza , our server put the order in early so the small hungry ones were starting their meal quickly. We also had the shrimp Mac and cheese and the ahi tuna seared salad. Unfortunately they were out of their crab dip as we wanted to compare with the dip we tried previously…oh well . Our server even gave me a to-go iced tea and box for the left over pizza ( which was eaten later in the day- still yummy as per my foodie grandsons). Yummy and not terribly pricey.

The Mahi sandwich was pretty good (good enough to order again) but it was a little overcooked. The spiced black beans were excellent. Nice view of the Beaufort waterfront. Parking during the winter months is free, but right now (February 2026) some of the streets and public parking are closed for repairs.

Stopped in for dinner during a quick weekend getaway. We were a little late so it was getting closer to closing time but the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They gave us a table with a gorgeous dockside view, allowing us to watch the beautiful sunset fade into evening.

The prices are reasonable and dinner was delicious. I ordered a blackened ahi salad with ginger dressing and it was SO good. Everything came out as ordered, in a short amount of time. Our server was friendly and attentive, and there was even some live music that we enjoyed post-dinner.

Overall, a very nice experience that was the perfect way to kick off our weekend getaway.
