We were looking for a place for lunch and thought lunch on the lakeside would be nice! We really enjoyed the vibe that this place offers! It’s a fantastic beachy decor place right on the waterfront with boat access as well! Our service was friendly and prompt! Our drinks were fun and the food was good too! This place hits all the points on expects when dining out! I would definitely recommend this place primarily for the fun, laid-back atmosphere on the lake! This place was a fun find while visiting Illinois!

I’ve been here multiple times and have been happy with each visit. The servers and bartenders are so sweet and kind and our food was amazing! Mac and cheese bites and French fries were my favorites! Very yummy and I highly recommend. The fruity drinks were also a 10/10!

Our second time here. Will keep coming back if they keep putting out great food like I have been having. One of my girls really didn’t like the chicken fingers. She said the chicken was too soft. Of course she said it when we left. I’m sure they would have made it right. Our waitress was great and attentive. You can’t beat eating at the waterfront. Get here!!!

Beautiful setting on the lake. Many boaters pulled up to the piers and come in for a drink and bite to eat. Owner said they will stay open this winter with part of the outside seating enclosed with heat. The menu has many good options, my husband being from the South was excited they have fried bologna sandwiches. I’m sure we’ll dine here many more times. Great food, relaxing atmosphere looking out over the water and good music. They had DJ Tek Nik when we were there but heard they also have live bands as well.

Great little place on Fox Lake. They have an outdoor seating area and they have live bands playing often and also karaoke on Thursday nights. They also offer covered outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the lake. A great menu selection with very reasonable prices. Their burgers are delicious and I had a sloppy joe that was very tasty. They offer a great summer drink selection, too. I had a Mai tai that was fantastic. Their bar is accessible from inside and outside. They have gaming machines inside and sell hoodies and hats. Really a fun place with great food, great drinks, great service and beautiful lake views. The place to be this summer.

This was our first visit and we were totally impressed by the service from the manager Barb, bartender Michelle , and wait staff. Right from the moment we stepped up from the dock area to the outdoor seating we were treated like old friends. Delicious food served with a smile by a very competent wait staff in a homey atmosphere. We were greeted by and shared conversation with Barb the manager, and she even gave our little rescue dog Roxie a Dingy’s bandana. Also we met a lovely frequent patron of the place Jenny with whom we shared conversation and laughs. Michelle the bar tender was also very friendly and and we shared some of the antics and our love for our little fur babies . Cudos to all who made us feel so welcome, and we will definitely be back there soon. My only regret is that boating season is almost over , and that we did not discover this jem of a place earlier on. Thank you again to all ! Kim, Jeff , and Roxie.

Amazing food. Had the broccoli bites app…. yum. The Dinghys smash burger ….. and of course the amazing mai tai. Great service. I love that they offer free Popsicles for kids and bubbles.
