Went for a Sunday evening dinner with a group of friends and we sat on the terrace outback. The grounds were manicured and lush and looked lovely. We did not have any trouble with insects. We had very friendly and attentive, weight staff and everybody enjoyed their meals. Some of us opted for the burger, which everyone seemed to enjoy. I had the snapper special which was fresh and tasty. The sweet corn ravioli as my starter was also delicious. We were so full that we could not manage dessert. If you’re out in this area, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I would add that a couple of us had martinis which were OK, but something was off, we were disappointed with our drinks. Also the menu indicates that they come with Gorgonzola stuffed olives, and these were not Gorgonzola stuffed olives.

Highly recommending the fried chicken. Besides the non oily thin and crispy skin and moist meat, the platter also comes with mashed potato, devil eggs and a biscuit !!

The portions of food is very generous and all of our party truly enjoyed our meal, service and the atmosphere dining outside.

Great food & service in a historic setting. Concise menu with good variety. Indoor & Outdoor seating. Food looks & tastes excellent! Friendly service. Beautiful gardens & flowers. Landmark Inn’s inviting atmosphere feels like going home for a special meal. There’s a few dining rooms as well as tables & seating on the back deck.

My wife and I loved this. The seafood risotto with these big jumbo scallops is great plus the crab cakes and the wild halibut. There are other food to order that are very good. Homemade ice cream is very good. Love the coffee ice cream.

A staple for locals and visitors, alike, Landmark Inn has quality food and very pleasant service.

Our January 2024 experience offered quite a few notable highlights, while also shedding light on some areas in need of improvement (read on for the details!)

The ambiance and charm of this place cannot be overstated, as it has been transformed into a lovely space that feels cozy and warm no matter where you are seated. The character and charm of this historic structure have been well attended to, and upgrades and modernization help to keep things fresh and clean.

We promptly were seated by our hostess and provided ample time to review the menu options before being asked for drink/food orders. Though the teenage boys providing bread and water were eager to do their jobs, the hustle and bustle of the place may have gotten to them, as water was hastily splashed out of glasses as they hurried from one table to the next, dampening the start of our experience just as we were taking our seats. (While one would be inclined to chastise their performance, it should be considered that they were so busy because the restaurant was so busy: reservations fill up most nights and the place gets filled with patrons eager to dine and enjoy a good meal and experience.) That being said, we made it a point to compliment our waitresses, who politely and neatly refilled each of our glasses of water when low.

The menu features staple dishes that are continually offered because they are so well made and appreciated by patrons. The specials this evening included an encrusted halibut, which peaked the interest of one of the members in our party who typically does not enjoy seafood. This dish was one of the many highlights of the meal, as it was light, and deliciously prepared with accompanying green beans and purees. The dish was thoroughly devoured, yet savored because it tasted so good! Another member of our party opted for the staple of the scallops with risotto. In this instance, the quantity of food was overwhelming, as the risotto was so soaked in sauce that it made the meal rather heavy. The scallops were a bit undercooked, but when combined with the rest of the meal on the plate, they still offered a lovely combination of flavors to be enjoyed.

Dessert featured a cheesecake option and a warm pecan mini pie with maple bourbon ice cream. The cheesecake was a delightful compliment to the dinner, and eagerly eaten to round out a delightful meal. If you are one to enjoy the sweetness of maple with a warmth of bourbon, the ice cream will not disappoint, and could all most be its own dish as the pecan pie stands up on its own for its flavor, in spite of its diminutive size, which happened to be perfect for the end of the meal.

Our servers were Amber and Brooke, and both took the time to speak with us about menu options, converse about life in general, and made us feel very welcome in this space. It always is pleasant to have an enjoyable rapport with the staff, who, again, were very attentive to our needs and dining experience. The hostess even took a moment as we were leaving to take a photo of our party so that we could remember the experience. We look forward to returning to the Landmark Inn again!

The Landmark Inn is a great restaurant in Warwick NY. Probably one of the best. I have never had a bad meal here. Service is always excellent. The historic atmosphere is pretty cool too. My personal favorite is the super tender short ribs in a tasty gravy. See photo. The chef/owner really knows what he is doing and seems to spend a lot of his time making sure everything is just right

Cute inn up in Warwick – attended a wedding here, service was good, food was meh, but it’s probably not indicative of regular food service. The bar area is cool. If you’re passing through it’s definitely worth checking out – if you need an event venue I’d highly recommend.

Quaint and historic building with.a unique ceiling of doors in the dining room. We ate in the larger dining room overlooking an amazing porch and view.
The service was excellent and the food was amazing.
Our table had an old sewing machine base with the treadle and it made legroom awkward. The room, being so.large and open was noisy and it was hard for.our table to enjoy our conversation.

First time trying Landmark Inn and happy to say they are excellent with gluten free menu options. The server was knowledgable and double checked everything with the chef (who apparently also has to eat gluten free.) Highly recommend!
