Located just north of Mora Minnesota, we’re a locally owned restaurant and RV park nestled in a quick, tree covered pocket across HWY-65 from Knife Lake. Northwoods Steakhouse features a full bar with excellent food, pull tabs, e-tabs, video games, and a great staff. Our RV Park has 9 seasonal sites, each with full hookup, picnic table and fire ring.

We went to Northwoods to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. It was the first time for anyone in our group to dine there. We were all very impressed with the menu selection, all of our meals were delicious, the serving sizes were very generous, our waitress was top notch, and the atmosphere was very nice! We will definitely be going back!

We love this place. Always great food. Tonight I had a Windsor old fashioned and it was the best I’ve had. My burger is always cooked to perfection. The owner and staff are always very welcoming. Really great rustic steakhouse vibe.

Excellent! This was our second Valentines Day in a row at Northwoods – it was wonderful. Excellent service all the way around. The steak was tender and delicious, and wait time was very minimal. Definitely will be back again!

My wife and I stopped in yesterday. We were welcomed immediately. We each ordered a burger, different temps, as I prefer a little pink, and my wife prefers no pink. When our meals were served, they were done perfect for each of us. By far the best burger I have had out in a long time. That is no over statement. The owner Shane stopped by to see how we were doing. It was great to meet him and hear their story. We don’t live real close, but we don’t mind driving a little way to have a good meal and enjoy great customer service. We will be back.

Great food, great service, great Bar!! Highly recommend their cheese curds & waffles fries with “Northwoods sauce” Serloin steak was excellent.
To top it off, they have my favorite beer, “Stella Artois: Cidre” in-stock, that can’t be found at any liquor stores around here anymore !! Plus they do have an off-sale liquor license.

Stopped in for Breakfast yesterday. We keep forgetting about new ownership. Soooo much more plesant. Food was delicious, service was great, very welcoming. It was unamious, we will be coming back.

Had a great lunch at Northwoods Steakhouse today! The house-smoked corned beef makes their Reuben one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The new owners are a hard working couple with a crew that is equally dedicated to a fantastic time. Worth going for sure! Calling ahead is helpful, especially if you have more than four in your party. I’m having the house-smoked pulled pork sandwich next time.

The food was good. Water was not. My order was screwed up a little, but I’m not one to ask for a new one. I had the steakhouse burger with waffle fries, and my sister had the fish and chips. I had a bite of her fish, and it was absolutely fantastic!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch—Sara took great care of us and made sure everything was perfect. As parents, we really appreciated the family-friendly touches: changing tables in both the men’s and women’s restrooms, and high chairs with working straps (not always a given!). When our son dropped his coloring sheet, the owner kindly brought him a new one right away—such thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be back!
