I have no choice but to give this place a 2. They were initially very difficult to work with over the phone to make a reservation. I had to call several times to get everything straight.. a very disorganized and chaotic system.
Our server was excellent by the way (did an excellent job). But the overall pace of everything was extremely slow. It took over 2.5 hrs to dine here.
The food was decent but overpriced for the overall experience.
I would not recommend LBV and I would not choose to dine here again. Instead you can get a way better experience for a better price at the Mahogany Sports Grill on the otherside of the lobby.

service and atmosphere was great. food was not so good. my chicken/pasta dish had zero flavor. very watery. (white dish pictured) the lobster bisque was not so good either. lobster was overly chewy & the pasta had a strong tomato paste taste.
i should have went to big al’s or the gatsby instead.

I’d rate the food if I could but unfortunately my husband and I sat at our table for over 15 minutes before we finally walked out. We were never asked a drink order, let alone acknowledged. We did NOT have a reservation and the hostess was VERY polite and asked us to wait a few minutes to see if the reservations showed and came to get us after maybe 5 minutes. All in all, bad experience.

This place is incredible. Fantastic atmosphere and filets that make your mouth water. Grab that triple chocolate cake it is to die for. LBV also features a pretty stellar wine selection. We make the drive down from Pittsburgh just for dinner here and it is worth the trip every time!

What a terrible way to speak to a guest. First off who ever runs this place needs fired. Terrible customer service, didn’t wait on us for 10 mins. Said we couldn’t be seated because of no reservation. Well we called multiple times and not one person answered. We were told we could go to the bar that has 4 seats and tiny. But there were multiple tables available. They were seating other people. How terrible a casino turns away quests on a Saturday at 845 pm. Will tell everyone that comes here to avoid this restaurant and find food elsewhere.

I had the chicken scampi for the 2nd time and was told there was a new chef, so there was going to be plenty of sauce this time. Last time, not so much. Much improved and very good.

We didn’t know we needed a reservation. No signage about that out front. They said they could seat us in 3 hours, which was almost the closing time. It looked like most of the restaurant was empty though which didnt make sense. From other reviews, I guess we are lucky we didn’t eat there

Slots overall are tight!! For example, 75 cent bet won a $1 on this hit!! Also, Friday night went to have a steak dinner at 10:15. The restaurant was closed!! May never return here!!

Our waiter was amazing, but there was something in my salad that cut the inside of my mouth so I explaining to waiter. He was very sympathetic, but no manager or anybody else came to check and then with my main entrée, I asked for my steak to be very well done and it came to me rare. I’m not the type that likes to send my food back, but on this occasion, I did so, and it still came back red so for my meal, I ended up with a bowl of mashed potatoes L O L me and my wife have been there in the past and it has been excellent but this time it was different. I don’t know if they have a new cook or what but our experience this time was subpar.

The food here, especially for the price, is exceptional. Our orders were perfectly done, and the sides we had were delicious. Our server was fantastic, checking in on us without being intrusive. The atmosphere, which I would describe as peaceful and muted, is just what I want for an intimate meal. LBV Steakhouse will definitely continue to be a regular visit.
