Ninja has the best food presentation and I love the atmosphere. This visit was not as superior as most due to staff shortage. One of the waitress that use to wait on me and my mom is dynamic. She smiles and anticipates your needs well. Service this time was just OK. The food, nonetheless has not diminished in proportion, taste, or appearance.

Immediately seated and was greeted with a smile. Lunch menu is awesome. Ordered the scallop Hibachi. I was overwhelmed with a fantastic cuisine that guarantees my return. Value, service deserves a more than a Thank You. We will be back. Menu is well prepped and reaches a moment where you will have a hard time deciding. Scallops, fried rice, and vegetables each had been prepped, spiced correctly, and were so tasty.

Was there for lunch on a Monday. Food, and service was ok. Ordered medium rare fillet that was for sure medium well at the least. Scallops were good, but veggies tasted steamed instead of done on the grill as ordered hibachi.

2022 (September update)
So I normally get sushi at samurai steakhouse but they are closed on Tuesday. So I came here since they were open and I am highly disappointed. I have had better sushi at Publix. Hell I believe gas station sushi is better then the current state of sushi at Ninja.
I will leave my previous review up but I had to update this since I just ate here for the first time since the pandemic was over.

Excellent restaurant in a desert of small town grub. Athens does not have a lot of restaurants but this is definitely one of the best. The attention to detail and food prep are what makes this place stand above the rest.
I love their sushi and can highly recommend it. As always if a fat boy tells you it’s good eatin then you best be prepared to Chow down. Staff is kind and knowledgeable. Cooks are impressive. The only thing that could be better is the rice. Highly recommend you give this spot a try.

Food here is great. My husband and I come pretty often for the food. But the service is terrible. Last time we were here our waiter messed up our order and left and item out entirely. This time my order was messed up completely, we had it sent back, and it still came back wrong. I try to give grace when it comes to service but half of the staff here are unpleasant and do not even meet the bare minimum. My drink sits empty far too long. After this experience we will not be coming back. Which is a shame because we love the food but I can’t stand to give money to an establishment that does not prioritize the quality of their service.

This ninja does not cook in front of you. I was very disappointed because thats why i wanted to go i want to see a man cook! Anyways this is $19.99 dollar Bento dinner special! Sorry. But there is nothing special about that dinner plate. I enjoyed mixing rice and vegetables with shrimp. I ate sushi. Thats all i liked. Didn’t care for one big fried broccoli or fried zucchini/sweet potato. Or soup. Second picture $32.00 lobster and steak plate! Comes with rice and noodles!

I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve always had a pleasant experience with everything however things have changed. The place in general didn’t seem as clean and hygienic as it used to be. I got my hibachi chicken plate like I always do. Whenever it came out I noticed that the quality of the food in general appeared different. I’m weird about chicken in general so I always cut mine to make sure it’s cooked properly. I thought maybe it was just me but then I proceeded to cut up the rest of the pieces and none of the chicken was cooked all the way. It was still pink in places. I let our waitress know and she talked with the manager and took it off our ticket. We tipped the waitress well since she was the only waitress working the whole restaurant and it wasn’t her fault. We left and I don’t plan on returning at anytime in the future.
