We went here for dinner on a Satuday evening when a live band was playing.. Not the smartest thing to do if you are looking for a quiet dinner with friends. The atmosphere was lively and the crowd were happy. The food was pretty good, and the service was also good.

Heard about this place through word of mouth recommendation.
Went here for mothers day with my wife, kids, and my mother. My brother-in-law, his wife, and their toddler joined last minute and the server was very accommodating with fitting them in to our reservation. It was the first time any of us had eaten here.
Today there was a sepacial mothers day brunch menu available which many of us ordered from, but the regular menu also had some good options. None of the food disappointed and we were all happy with what we ordered.
The server was attentive to us and checked in on us often, and we didn’t have to wait too long for anything that we would ask for.

Nope, I don’t recommend. We recently made reservations here, my mom leaving a detailed voicemail message on the restaurant’s machine. My mom was so excited to go there this evening as there was going to be live music, which she loves.
Alas, when we arrived and headed towards the dining room, the waitress told us no, that the restaurant was sold out and had been for a while. The restaurant didn’t have the character or courtesy to return my mother’s telephone call.
Gratefully there are other restaurants very close by, and we went to one and were happily given a beautiful table followed by amazing service.
I don’t recommend Wisegirl.

I haven’t reviewed a restaurant in years, but my experience here was so bad that I had to. I was at the bar last night having dinner with a friend. Another patron asked the bartender (Dave) to change the football game on the TV. Dave said OK, but seemed to forget. I get it – he’s busy. I then asked the other female bartender to put the game on, and she responded by insulting me – yelling to Dave across the bar, “Mr. Needy here wants the game changed.”
I asked my companion whether I had done anything to deserve the response. No. She was as shocked as I was. A moment later, I informed the female bartender calmly that I’d never before been insulted by a bartender, and she doubled down, “Really? Never?” No apology.
This wasn’t the only example of poor customer service that night. Prior to my being labeled “needy”, the woman sitting next to me asked for my menu because she wasn’t able to get one from a bartender. Another asked for my drink menu and that I order drinks for her and her friend because she couldn’t get the attention of a bartender. I declined, but to help, I signaled to the female bartender that the two women wanted to order.
The bartenders all acted surly and unapproachable the entire time I was there. Maybe they are underpaid, maybe they haven’t been properly trained, maybe ownership treats them poorly – I don’t know – but none of it has anything to do with me.
I was prepared to stay and drink more, but instead settled my tab and left without leaving a tip – printing on the restaurant copy of the check “Mr. Needy”.
If you want to at best be ignored or at worst be insulted, this is the bar/restaurant for you.

This restaurant has so much charm and it just extended so now not only does it have outside extended seating. It has another side to it all together. I noticed it has a stage. I’m not exactly sure what that means but I’m guessing there’s entertainment. I will have to check that out as this restaurant is close to my home and office. My friends and I had a Christmas lunch there this week and it was so much fun in the food did not disappoint.

Other than the dining room being a little chilly for lunch on a Saturday in December the service was excellent and the calamari appetiser was the best I have ever had…my first visit and I will be back!

I went to go see Lumberyard play there. They are an excellent band of highly talented musicians. They play a great variety of favorite danceable rock/pop songs, mostly from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The venue is in a great location and I’m told that the Italian food they serve there is good. I dislike the venue for live music because of their setup. The band is at floor level (no riser) and crammed in the far back corner. The dance floor area is directly between the bar and the kitchen/bathroom area. Servers literally have to push their way through a packed dance floor to access the kitchen. Not a good layout for anyone with egress awareness.

Wonderful live music venue! Our server was top notch all pro! Food was very reasonably priced, tasty and with generous portions! I love that you can reserve a big table right in the room with live music rocking the house. I look forward to coming again!

What a beautiful place. Angela went above & beyond to squeeze in 3 of us to see a great band, Grooveline. The food was outstanding and the drinks had a punch. Our server Barbara was amazing. The place was packed & she was really running all night yet had a fun, pleasant attitude. Everyone danced all night. Such a great vibe. I would definitely go again. I’ll follow your FB page for the band calendar. Thank you again Angela!!

After today there’s no other restuarant I’m going to visit. This is the place! Today our bartender/server was Stevie and she was phenomenal! The drinks 100% on point and food delicious. Classy with a feel of being in a speak easy. I hope soon to bring friends to share this experience with.
