This place is extremely unprofessional. I ordered Combo #2 and was told by our server that they were out of blue crab and would substitute it with snow crab. I specifically asked if that meant we would receive two clusters, since the combo clearly states it comes with two blue crab clusters. The server confirmed yes, so we proceeded with the order.
When the food arrived, there was only one cluster. We brought this up to another employee, who turned out to be the manager, Marissa. She responded rudely and insisted the combo only comes with one cluster-despite what her server had clearly told us. How is that the customer’s fault? If your staff is misinforming guests, that is a management issue, and it should be handled with accountability and accommodation.
After waiting over 15 minutes with no follow-up, the manager returned and said she would itemize the bill and remove the crab legs since we hadn’t touched them. She then claimed it would somehow cost more to do so, which made no sense. When I asked for proof, she said she checked the price but couldn’t show it because it “deleted.” Very convenient.
At that point, I told her to just leave it. Later, our server tried to help and offered to ask again about a discount. The manager eventually agreed to remove the item and apply a discount but only if they physically took the crab legs back from our table. They literally removed food that had already been served, which is unsanitary and, as someone who has worked in the industry, completely unacceptable and illegal in many places and no discount was applied.
This entire situation reflects poorly on the restaurant’s management, training, and professionalism. Guests should not be punished for staff misinformation, and managers should know how to de-escalate and take responsibility instead of being dismissive and disrespectful. Please educate yourself and your employees.

Definitely recommend coming for a good seafood boil. Yes you’re gonna get messy but worth it 100%. I had no head shrimp with mushrooms tossed in their Twin Crab Sauce and Hot. Not as thick as I wanted to be but worth the price. Also did I mention they have things on the menu like wings ans fried rice.

Came here yesterday for half a pound of muscles. Took me a while to get help while servers & workers stand around & talk. Had to look around multiple times to get a server. After receiving my meal I had to get up and ask for gloves and a bib. Most of the muscles weren’t even in a shell just scrabbled around in the bag. Most shells were empty. Best thing i experienced was the to go bag. I like the durability and designs

First time visiting this restaurant and I have to say that I was very impressed by the decor, the music, the customer service and of course, the food. I ordered the crab cakes which were so flavorful and juicy. The shrimp was on special; buy a pound and get a half FREE at the time. That was a deal! That sauce was amazing!! The corn, potatoes, boiled eggs, and mushrooms were perfect. I can’t say enough about how delicious everything was and even the boozy drinks were really good! I’ll be back soon! I need to try their crawfish next time!

Food was mid. I have been to twin crab on 45 & Fuqua & always had a great experience. I was meeting up with a friend near by & decided to come here. Our server was Javier L. Food was good. But the experience was not. He only came once to our table and that was it. My husband had to call him over twice to refill our drinks. When the check came he was not transparent about the tip. I got what I usually get at the other location & when i heard the amount he was charging me, was odd because we never paid that much. I understand every restaurant even if it is the same chain has different policies & prices. But when he came out to our table he said he preferred cash tips in a very disrespectful way. My friend told him she would leave it on her card and so would I because we never carry cash. My friend found in her wallet 4$ cash and gave them to ‘Javier’. He made a face like he was upset. We asked for our receipt & he was very hesitant & said if we signed up for the rewards we would automatically get them on the phone. Which was a lie & we asked for physical copy of the receipt. He then gave it to us. & it showed that the service charge was already added on there & he was not transparent about that and we both added additional tips on there making his tip bigger. I usually tip well but his service was not great & was disrespectful & NOT transparent. He did not deserve a great tip. I feel scammed. They need to train him better & show him customer service. Because of that we will never be back.

We waited in line, ordered and sat down. We asked how to get our drinks and were told they would bring them to us. After a few minutes the manager, Marissa, came over and said we had placed a takeout order and couldn’t change and it was a 45 minute wait for dine in. She was very rude and couldn’t have cared less. It was obvious this happens all the time based on her attitude. There are no signs indicating takeout vs dine in. I know she was aware of what happened because I heard her telling the lady who took our order she needed to speak louder so people would know it was takeout.

Visited Twin Crab for the first and last time on 1/11/26. My family of 3 were greeted right away and seated almost immediately. Our server was very polite and took our drink order within a minute or so of us being seated and came back once to check on us during our dining (my husband did have to track him down for more drinks). The food prices were reasonable and arrived very fast. We all enjoyed our meals: fried fish, boiled seafood combo, and a pick your seafood.
My major issue with Twin Crab was the very inappropriate music selection that was playing in a family friendly restaurant. The amount of times I heard b****, h**, f***, n****, and all of the other inappropriate words that I do not want to hear nor do I want my child to hear them neither. I am baffled that someone in restaurant leadership would allow or think music such as this would be fine to play very loudly, I might add, throughout the restaurant. Very disappointed and disgusted.

The food here is DELICIOUS!!! You can come here and sit down, dine in, and the servers keep checking on you to make sure you have everything you need! I liked the music they played too. You will spend at least $20 for your seafood but it is so good that it is worth it! ✨️ ✨️ The only thing I didn’t like is they had “Diet Coke and I wanted Zero Sugar Coke” Other than that, this place is phenomenal ✨️ ✨️❤️✨️ ✨️

First and last time coming to Twin Crab on North Freeway. I had already eaten most of my seafood boil when I found a large cockroach sitting in the bag mixed in with the seafood and sauce. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, I was told they probably just didn’t clean the crawfish well enough and that sometimes that happens, which is an alarming response from a restaurant serving food to families and the public. They removed the meal from the bill, but finding a cockroach in a seafood boil is beyond unacceptable. I will not be returning.

The food was a bit pricey for the portions. The flavor was good. The shrimp was not overcooked, but the lobster tail felt a little overcooked . The server was very helpful and polite.
