There is a reason there was no line during the lunch rush. Salad was mediocre at best. Asked for red onion for the Cobb salad and didn’t realize til the register that it would cost extra. Really, red onion is that expensive?? Chicken was very dry. Really inconsistent green sizes, making it difficult to eat. Walk somewhere else.

I’ve been to this place 4 times now and I never had a good experience. The food is good but I never felt welcome there. The staff seem upset and rushing to give you your food so you can leave. I asked the server for dressing recommendation, he just pointed to a sign that has a list of the dressings, without saying a word. The portions tend to be small too, so expect to remain hungry even after you spend $10+ for your meal. If the staff smile every now and then, that’ll make a big difference.

I went here for the first time today. They were in such a hurry to get me out the door, the failed to provide good customer service. My salad was not tossed resulting in all the dressing in one place, an entire hard boiled egg, and 1/2 of an avocado. This would be fine if the salad was served on a plate with room to cut these items but it was stuff (literally) into a tiny container and I was sent on my way. I would rather wait a couple more minutes in line and have them prepare the salad as it is intended. Slow down, say hi to the customer, answer any questions they have.

Good concept with decent ingredients but little to no value proposition. Menu is unoriginal at best, easily outdone by competitor places. I ordered a “Cobb Avocado Salad” with should have been described as “heaping mound of romaine lettuce with a small side portion of Cobb salad fixings”. Most egregious was the shamefully small portion of chicken relative to everything else. All the food was fine, but nothing special. Proportions were ridiculous. Paying top salad dollar for a bunch of romaine was very disappointing.

I have really enjoyed this place in the past. But the past couple of times I’ve been there, the portions have been way smaller than they used to be. When the bowl is only half way full, it’s hard to pay $10.00. On top of that, this time around it was cold, like the rice and chicken in the Baja bowl were barely warm at best.

Tried going there yesterday, and at 1:55PM they had locked the doors (hours are until 2:00PM). Ok, I can understand that. I went there today, and my food (broth bowl) was cold, like the ingredients just came out of the refrigerator. I usually am ok with “warm” food…I can handle that, but it was just straight cold and bland. The cashier with glasses was kind. I did not get any great customer service from the other staff, not even a smile, felt as though I was being rushed to choose my menu item.

I enjoy their healthy food and the green ginger drink. Food is pricey though. I do like coming here but it turns me off when one of the lady there, she looks like the manager since she’s always running around helping out and closing the store. I’ve never seen her smile before and she’s always rushing me or seem like she’s having a bad day all the time. She’ll help but she’ll keep it short and quick, her tone of voice is never pleasant either. I was getting assisted from one of the ladies and she screams across the room to chime in(4x) just to get the process going faster, which was very rude.

We have been here a few times when visiting my daughter at college. The food is good but the last visit, I felt the food was not as good as it was the times before. The salads are a nice portion, though, and there is a variety and good portion size.

Why hasn’t anyone thought about this before? This is like a Chipotle for salads but instead of scarfing down 50+ grams of carbs you’re doing yourself and your body a favor. You can assemble all different forms of salads and they have a wide variety of toppings.

Start with a base, a greens (kale always for me), and a load of toppings (blueberries, bacon, cheese, avocado — no extra charge, olives, raisins, sunflower seeds, etc.) The base price for no protein is about $8 .. which is reasonable for so much salad!

I would skip the protein though. I got like 1/4 cup of diced chicken for $2+ which is like kind of ridiculous in my opinion… Still a really savory salad so I’m happy!

The best part is I don’t fall into a food coma after eating it like I would for Chipotle…

The only reason they get a star at all is because everything tastes fine and it was quick. But it’s super overpriced. I paid just under $15 for one small protein bowl with dry, underseasoned chicken and a KeVita drink. But the main offense was major – no juice/smoothies. I specifically went down there to get one because I saw someone else having one the other day and it looked good. I also have myself a bit of a cold right now and I thought “you know, something light, healthy with lots of vitamins from fresh produce would be good” so it was the main reason I went. I got there and picked out what I wanted just to be told they simply don’t sell these during lunch because they don’t have the people to step away and make it. What the hell? You can’t just say “oh, this huge portion of our menu is off limits because we’re too busy.” That would be like if when I worked at Noodles and it got too busy I told people, “oh you can’t have any spaghetti because we don’t have enough people to send someone to make it.”

Ran out of veggies or fruits? Fine. Juicer broken? Fine. But having a large portion of your menu just off limits because you’re “too busy” or understaffed is asinine. And during your ONLY peak hour, too.

She told me to “come back after lunch” which makes zero sense because I actually have a job like most people and they frown upon taking 2 lunch breaks in one day.

I will definitely not be going back here when I could go to Skyway Wok, Max’s, Chipotle, Naf Naf, Whole Foods buffet, Potbelly, Starbucks, etc (I could go on and on) or any other place that knows how to serve people. I really wanted to try that smoothie/juice drink I saw that lady with but I guess I’ll never know….
