We stopped by half an hour before closing, and we were greeted with huge, welcoming smiles. Service here was outstanding.
We had the pho and banh mi, both were phenomenal.
Banh mi bread was nicely toasted and crunchy on outside soft on instead, ingredients were very fresh.
Pho was huge – just perfect.

So my review is purely on the pho so there is some bias. The rule of thumb is, if they don’t have pho on the name of the restaurant, it’s not their specialty and that rings true here. Their pho is a 5/10. On that note, the high rating is deserving of the rest of the food. The bahn mi is fantastic. Although I like the carrots to be a little thinner, the flavor of the bahn mi was still legit!! 9/10. I will say their eggroll sauce and their bun sauces were only okay to me. If you prefer the rice plates and bahn mis, definitely give this place a try. If you’re wanting pho, keep looking on central! Lastly, the owner of this place is the sweetest!!

I’m dumbfounded by how good this place is! I discovered it as I tried but failed to check out their next door neighbor Thanh-Huong (they were closed). I am glad I had a chance to check this place out! I’m a Bahn Mi noob so take it for what it’s worth… BUT THIS IS THE BEST BAHN MI I HAVE TRIED TO DATE (check my photos). I got the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi which was recommended to me. $4.50 for mouth watering flavorful pork. I added some of their chili sauce for an extra kick. I also checked out their #14 (sorry forgot the name) which was a rice and pork dish with fish sauce and a cucumber lettuce salad. It was excellent as well! And the service is as friendly as it gets here! The lady who served me is so nice! I highly recommend this place!

Tucked away under a blue corrugated roof, the hidden gem crafts some of the best pho in Charlotte, complete with a complex, rich broth and all the accoutrements. Though the menu may be small, the owners focus on creating exceptional pho and banh mi with generous portion sizes at fair prices. Do yourself a favor and discover this treasure.

Prices were reasonable, but the saying is true don’t order Pho at a restaurant that does not have it in its name, lol…. I gave it a three star since I found bits of plastic in my food and there was a drunk guy who was walking back-and-forth on the sidewalk periodically coming into the restaurant screaming…which didn’t really set the vibe for me to want to return

I recently ordered pho with flank steak as a carry-out option from this restaurant. The food was well-packaged, which is always appreciated for takeout orders. The broth had a good flavor, though it was a bit on the mild side compared to some of the more robust pho I’ve enjoyed over the years. The quality of the flank steak and the fresh accompaniments were solid, even if the overall experience wasn’t particularly remarkable.
That said, it was satisfying enough that I’d definitely consider giving it another try. It might be a great choice for someone who prefers a more subtle flavor profile in their pho.

Incredible, if you want Vietnamese food that taste how it should this is where you should go. No question in my mind that this place is better then anything I have had so far. I was just able to get a Banh Mi here but it was the best I have ever had even after I thought I had eaten authentic Vietnamese food before.

Great bahn mi! Best bread, nice veggie fillings, not too big. Love the roast pork and Vietnamese meatballs best. Chicken is good, too. Quick for takeout.
