Now …..if you want that habachi taste, YES! THIS IS IT….my kids and I are frequent flyers at Sake so it definitely gave us the habachi taste…..the veggies were fresh and crispy but not raw…which is how I love it……this is a 3 rating because of the lack of egg (which on the gallery pics on the website you can see eggs allt though the rice that’s on the picture) and the yum yum sauce was SO WATERY..watery like I.got it from the soda machine watery…..it tasted watery as well…..so my joy of using yum yum sauce with my habachi was out the window which sucked..I tried to upload a video but can only upload pics so you can see….the meat chicken. Shrimp steak all good and seasoned well … The rice was good…veggies made it all great! So yes get a habachi bowl…suggestion is ADD EGGS ON THE HE MENU AS AN ADD ON OPTION!! Trust me, people will pay for it as I always do! Or take the picture off of the website because that’s not how it looks or is….
The other thing was the drinking fountain…..when getting mountain dew black stuff kept ending up in my daughters cup. We informed the worker In which she came to assist ….she took the one to the moutain due off and wiped up in there with a white napkin and it was so much black stuff on the napkin which turned us completely off …I had a pepsi that I purchased ..i.did t even drink it because in my mind there was something dark floating in it that I couldn’t see since it was dark already….I’m not sure if something was really floating in mine but seeing it cone out the mountain dew like that made me not drink the one I purchased. My daughter opted to get lemonade which didn’t have any black floaties in it …..my other daughter got Stary which didn’t have any black floaties but the mounting dew did even after she cleaned it….
Other than that, try the food… TRY IT …..it was good. ❤️
I chose the steak and shrimp, with ginger sauce and fried rice and all vegetables. I love that you have the option to choose whatever you like for veggies, as my husband has issues with some and he decided to opt out of a few of them on his order. I also appreciate that they offer noodles at no extra cost, this was a delight to my husband. He chose chicken, steak and shrimp, ginger sauce, some veggies and noodles.
It did take a little time for our order to come out, but there were several folks there so this wasn’t a huge issue. Once it came out, it was a hearty portion, and I thought it was very tasty. For the price point, this could be a new favorite spot for hibachi.
I love hibachi! The food here is consistently great tasting, fresh, and satisfying. For a hibachi-to-go spot, they do a solid job with flavor, portion size, and speed, which is exactly what you want when grabbing a quick, well-made meal.
I also want to offer some perspective regarding the service based on some of the other reviews.
What some people may interpret as “short,” “blunt,” or even “rude” is actually directness and efficiency and those are values, not flaws. In many Chinese-run restaurants, the priority is getting your order correct, getting your food out quickly, and keeping things moving smoothly, especially during busy hours. Small talk, upselling, or overly performative friendliness isn’t the focus.
There can also be a language barrier, which is important to keep in mind. Many owners and workers come to the U.S. chasing the American Dream, working long hours to build a better life for themselves and their families. English may not be their first language, but that doesn’t reflect a lack of care or respect.
Not every culture expresses hospitality the same way. A brief or direct interaction doesn’t mean poor service, it often means they’re focused on doing the job well.
I encourage people to approach service and people with patience, compassion, and kindness. When you do, you’ll see that the service is fast, honest, and effective, and the food speaks for itself.
I love coming here and the workers have always been nice when I visit! I’ll definitely be back for more good food!
