Must visit place every time we come to the Holden Beach area. The food is great. Watch the pizza get tossed in the window before that delicious crispy NY crust is delivered to your table. Wings are great. The regular are kind of sweet. The hot are not so hot. The people who run the place are great. A real family establishment.

Love this place!!! Its family owned and operated, they are an amazing family, very kind hearted, and hard working individuals! On top of that the pizza is delicious, and they offer very unique specialty pizzas, I love the Manja sauce its my favorite, which they also sell jars of so be sure to stop in and try it out! You won’t be disappointed!

This was by far the greatest Italian restaurant I’ve ever ate at. 5 stars all around. The food awesome. The staff awesome. The decor awesome. Everyone was friendly and inviting. Everything about this place is amazing from the staff to the food! I was highly recommended to this place and it did not disappoint. I ordered a pizza and some of their infamous meatballs. The ladies that took care of me for my pickup was amazing. One I believe is the owners daughter. I had some special request and they accommodated with no problem. The pizza and sauce is out of this world good but the meatballs…now those are dangerous as they will melt in your mouth! Everything is made fresh and the Alfredo sauce is nothing I have ever experienced before. Both sauces were top of the line. I would recommend its a must try if you are in the area. I almost would drive the 3 hours again just for some more food from there but we will be back

I’ve have frequented Mama Bravas in the past and His food was fabulous. Since he cut his hours and his staff, everything has gone downhill since the atmosphere is dull, dark and gloomy, the service is iffy at much, and the food has gone downhill severely. I ordered two pizzas and the crust was stale. I ordered a calzone and it was not cooked all the way I ordered chicken wings, which were in edible. The only thing positive I have to say is the marinara sauce is great and the jalapeño poppers We’re good considering the premade and just thrown into a fryer. I will never order from them again and having your establishment only open for five hours half of the week locals don’t want that.

Excellent food and excellent service. The tables, walls, and floors show a lot of age and could use some repair, but I think it adds to the charm. There is a collection of chess boards and a few you can play. My son and I enjoyed a game of chess as we waited for our food (he won).

On May 16th, 2025, I ordered the Fettucini Alfredo. It was the most disgusting dish of food that I have ever been served in 68 years. What was supposed to be the alfredo Sauce was thicker and chunkier than elmers glue with absolutely no flavor.
I politely brought it to the servers’ attention, and they took it out into the kitchen and showed it to the cook (who you could see through the large round window). The server returned and said they were instructed to remove the charge from the tab. Absolutely no apologies of any kind from the server, cook, or manager/owner.
I left without any dinner.
This was the first and the last time I went into this establishment.
Anyone who knows what fettucini alfredo should look like can tell just from my photo of it that it isn’t prepared correctly.

Food was expensive for price. Gave us the wrong wings and no pineapple on our pizza. Spent $45 on 1 pizza 5 wings and garlic bread. Garlic bread was hard and cold. Pizza was greasy and not very good. Tried to support a smaller business but definitely wasn’t the best place i’ve had.

I got the white pizza since everyone says it’s the best and they were right. It was phenomenal; I loved it.
Karim and Debora (husband and wife) own and run this restaurant together with their family and the atmosphere and everything there had a very warm family feel to it. You could tell they were proud, passionate, and happy to have this pizzeria to serve everyone. Karim is the master pizza artist and boy does he know his craft.
When they heard it was my first time there they grinned and treated me like family and took me to the kitchen to meet Karim and show me where and how they make the pizzas and let me watch them make mine.
They talked to me to get to know me and told me their story about the pizzeria and their family. I really enjoyed talking to Karim, Debora, and Alia. Phenomenal pizza and phenomenal people. This is a gem of Brunswick county. Highly recommend!!
