The perfect place for a meal, A snack, a beverage or some shopping for sweet gifts! I had one of the best BLTs I’ve had in a long time. Fried mushrooms were perfection. And the grilled pastrami sandwich that my friend had was top shelf. Very friendly staff and a very clean space. It’s a must stop!

We spent the night in the area, and were happy to find this convenient establishment on our way. Brunch was superb! Generous portions of great fresh hearty breakfast of ham, eggs, hashbrowns, english muffin and coffee.
My beloved had the French toast with bacon and coffee. Couldn’t ask for a better start to a day on the road.

I stopped here last spring on my way to Mann Lake for a breakfast burrito. Very cold morning. Super nice ladies behind the counter. One of the best breakfast burritos I have ever grazed on. I ate half on the way to Mann Lake and the other half later that day after setting up camp for the week. It’s not a travel trailer-friendly entrance to the place, but worth it.

We visited this place on our way to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The food was absolutely delicious — everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was warm and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. We enjoyed our meal so much that we made it a point to stop again for dinner on our way back the same day. Highly recommend this spot if you’re passing through — it’s a hidden gem!

This is a great little one pump gas station and restaurant. Very friendly staff and a quaint convenience store. The gas pump is straight out of the ’80s and is in the front of the building. They will come out and pump the gas for you.

Amazing spot! We stayed in one of their RV spots on our way south. We rolled in right after they had had a snow storm. We had called to make a reservation prior to leaving home. Matt worked really hard to clear the spot before we arrived. Such a nice couple who runs this business. The next morning, before departing, we went to the Cafe for breakfast. Absolutely delicious! Huge portions at a great price. Dally spent a lot of time talking with us and serving us a great meal. Thank you both!!! Don’t hesitate coming here. You won’t be disappointed!!

Took me back to my childhood. I would visit my grandma in rural NE Oregon every summer in my teens. Nearly every morning, we’d go to the local small town cafe for breakfast & socializing. This reminded me of this time in my life.
Simple good food, friendly people, hearty portions, reasonable prices. Y’all were great!

After a couple of long days on the road, stumbling upon Crane’s Store, café, gas, and RV lot felt like a true blessing. The food was so good. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and served with genuine care.

What makes this place even more special is the kindness behind it. Not only do they serve incredible meals, but they also welcome weary travelers by allowing boondocking in their huge parking lot. After hours of driving, it felt like a little piece of comfort right when we needed it most.

We can’t wait to try their breakfast tomorrow before getting back on the road. If you’re anywhere near the area, you absolutely cannot miss this stop. Between the warm hospitality, delicious food, and the sense of community, Crane’s Store and Café is the kind of place you’ll be talking about long after you leave. Highly, highly recommend!

Wow. New owners have taken over this gem in October 2024. Breakfast is generous, tasty and inexpensive. Service is attentive. Bottomless coffee. If you don’t need hookups, you’re welcome to boondock out front to get breakfast at daybreak. With the Crane Hot Springs just four minutes up the road, weary travelers get and ideal combo: Soak in their hot springs until 10pm, shower up afterwards, then boondock ‘till breakfast at this café.
