The opening of Scott’s Richmond in Autumn 2022 marks the beginning of a new chapter. Scott’s of Mount Street, Mayfair, has defined London dining through countless changing decades and has a sparkling, storied past that is the stuff of local legend. Now it is expanding into a new location for the first time, the scene is set for a decadent new narrative. Delicious set lunch at Scotts Richmond in a fabulous building overlooking the river Thames. Such a wonderful greeting from the doorman made this a wonderful start to a great lunch.
Starting with the Chalkstream trout tartare and the flavourful Roscoff Onion Tarte Tatin and onto the mains of Fillet Of Cornish Pollock and the famous Scotts FIsh pie the cooking is delightful and well presented. Perfect chocolate mousse and the in season Yorkshire Rhubarb Coupe were our desserts.
The main dining area and bar has a wonderful spacious atmosphere with excellent service to match. It can be a special dining occasion or a casual meal and the location in Richmond is perfect.

Scotts in Richmond offers a lovely atmosphere and excellent service, creating a very pleasant dining experience. The seafood stands out the cod was particularly good, and the halibut was also excellent with a well-balanced sauce.
The only dish that felt slightly unusual was the deep-fried artichoke, which had a sweet flavour that didn’t quite work for me. Overall, a great spot in Richmond in an elegant setting.

Fabulous place for a special night out. You can dress up or you can be more casual, the atmosphere is great.
Lovely welcome from the doorman. Great cocktails to start and delicious fish dishes to enjoy. Husband’s fish and chips was huge. My hake was really delicious and just the right portion size. Brussels side dish was incredible.

Service was outstanding. Server Ash and doorman Peter were very friendly, charismatic and attentive.
The burrata salad starter was amazing, the flavours worked excellently together. The main food was delicious, although portions were small (had a risotto and guest had the roast) so I’d recommend getting a side with them. The desserts were very tasty, the best one for us was the apple pie. The drinks menu is filled with variety so there will be something for everyone.
The decor and layout is stunning, it is evident lots of thought was put into designing this place. On Wednesday it is jazz and Motown live music night, this contributed to the amazing atmosphere at Scott’s. Cannot wait for my next visit.

From the moment you walk through the door the warm welcome is felt from all the staff.
The decor is sumptuous, but comfortable, overlooking the Thames what a setting. On the 1st floor the cocktail bar and river view seating is an opulent comfortable area with sheepskin rugs to snuggle into… look forward to brighter days when the area isn’t enclosed and to enjoy the gambit of English weather!
Food! We shared Jersey oysters and a spicy crab. Oysters were served with shallot vinegar and jalapeño vinegar, clean and delicious. The crab, mainly tge brown meat mixed with ginger and other spices served with slices of sour dough toast.
I had the monkfish and prawn korma, an explosion of flavour in every mouthful. My husband ordered the hake which looked great, we shared a side of kimchi Brussels sprouts and chips!
Washed down with a bottle of sparkling water and champagne.
Our conclusion the lunch was perfect and we prefer Richmond over Mayfair as a setting … never thought I’d say that!
The maître d was in complete control of the room and charming. Nuno thank you for your time in showing us with pride the cocktail area.
Needless to say we will be back in the New Year.

Very happy with everything. The waiters and managers were amazing, detailed to attention to everything. Came and had conversations with us even though they were very busy on St Valentine’s Day. Food was exceptional. I am at their Mayfair branch normally and was not disappointed here!

Beautiful room and attentive service, but the food seriously disappoints. The fish was overly oily and bland, and the accompaniments felt basic and poorly executed. For the price, the experience falls flat – all style and no substance. Unfortunately, some interactions with staff also felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, which really took away from the evening.
