My mom & I 100% recommend D’s to anyone in the area. We stopped by on our way from Knoxville to Nashville, and are so glad we did! The people working are so incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious! The mac n cheese with brisket or pork were perfectly made. Definitely give the apple pie baked beans a try!

Never again. First and only time visiting. It was 5pm on a Friday and no one else in the place. Took forever and all the food was cold. The fries were the worst of it – cold, limp and greasy. By the questions I asked it was obvious we had never been there before. You would think our meal would have been great so we came back. Only reason we ate it was because it had been 6 hours since we last ate. Local people rave about this place but I wouldn’t recommend wasting time or money it was disgusting.

Best BBQ in the greater Knoxville area in my opinion! Fantastic prices compared to any BBQ place I’ve been to! Juicy pull apart pulled pork, creamy Mac and cheese and the Apple Pie Baked Beans are must try!!! Trust me! Owners are extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions. We needed a good BBQ place and this one does not disappoint! Highly recommend checking it out when you’re in the area! Make sure to try all the sauces too! The Carolina gold style is my favorite, made in house! They also have a hot version of that and a more traditional thicker bbq sauce, all great!

While searching for a caterer for a 50th reunion picnic we tried out D’s smokehouse in Harriman, TN. We had the pulled pork sandwich, slaw, baked beans and potato salad. The pork sandwich was excellent, tender, flavorful, with huge serving of meat on our fresh bun. Large chunks of pork with more than would normally be served on a bun. The two sauces were hot and sweet with a very unique in house flavor. The beans were great. I am particular about my slaw and this one passed the test. The potato salad was definitely a home style in house recipe that I really enjoyed. We decided to have them cater our reunion and were not disappointed. The food was fresh and plentiful. Our attendees complimented the food afterwards. I then took my husband and his best friend to eat the next week. We had brisket and ribs and were amazed at the quality. He had a new bbq sauce recipe (raspberry chipolte) that was great, sweet with a bite. The owners were friendly, responsive, and the service for our meals and with their catering was excellent. We will be back as a family and encourage others to eat there and use their catering services.

This a must if you’re hungry and have a taste for some amazing BBQ. Me and my son ate here after school, service was quick and good, good was amazing, and the atmosphere stellar. I recommend trying the apple pie baked beans they are our of this world. The house made variety of sauces are just the chefs kiss! The flavors are creative and original and best of all they work!

Omg went here with my dad and the owners were so welcoming helped us pick out some stuff and was definitely some of the best bbq I’ve had in a very long time. Service was absolutely fantastic my dad and them talked about bbq for like 30 minutes. Will recommend to all my friends.

Finally decent BBQ in the area. Owner spent time in Texas and that shows in the food. Brisket and ribs were legit. Sides were generous and very good. Eat local and keep this place open. Prices are reasonable. Will return to try other items.
