My husband likes to stop here when we’re in town. We grew up and he ate this a lot. But this time, he felt that the sauce was not the same. I, however, felt the place was much cleaner than normal.

Awesome Hotdogs!!! Very flavorful, not garlicky, cooked perfectly too. The chili was very good, albeit strange!! (shredded hotdog pieces in it). Fries were also really tasty.

It’s a dump of a place and there’s no public restroom, but the dogs are great, the service is good and it’s filling and inexpensive. I wish so much they had something in Pittsburgh! Youngstown is spoiled with all these hot dog shops!

Pretty darn good dogs . I had two Chili dogs, one son two chili cheese dogs. My other son a Gyro with fries. The chili sauce was good ! The fries excellent! Overall good ! Give them a try!

How sad they changed their chili recipe. First hot dog shoppe and Jib Jab and now Jay’s. People used to drive from miles away just for their sauce and they changed it to skimp on money. What an abomination.
