Columbus Park Trattoria is our absolute favorite restaurant in Stamford. The Italian food is authentic and truly brings us back to Italy with every bite. The flavor blows you away. It is divine, full of depth, and incredibly delicious every single time. I have genuinely loved every dish I have tried.
The service is impeccable and we are always welcomed and treated like family. They go above and beyond to make every visit special. My grandmother once ordered a pasta that was not even on the menu, and the chef happily made it for her. It ended up being her favorite meal to date.
The prices are competitive, they offer half portions for pasta, and the quality is outstanding. We bring all of our friends and family here when they visit from out of state, and it never disappoints. Everyone needs to dine here at least once. Five stars all the way.

Absolutely awesome place! food was prepared and presented perfectly. staff was so attentive and was able read the room and allowed the conversation to flow with minimal interruption. one of the best meals ive ever had with awesome company. Great small setting that has awesome ambiance.

Food is still delicious, one of the more reliable and consistent establishments in downtown.
That said, service on the (front) outdoor patio, or lack thereof, was disappointing. Staff were busily chitchatting with each other while my water glass was unfilled; it took a long time for my check to arrive as well. Staff only had 3 tables.
If you need to be in and out in a timely manner, do yourself a favor – sit inside!

The food, service, and atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing! It was steps away from our hotel door! The owner was absolutely amazing and was able to suggest specific dishes based on our requests and dietary restrictions! We had tiramisu for dessert and it was extremely flavorful! The strawberries on the top were almost as sweet as the actual dish! Very impressed with this location! We will definitely be back on our travels through the area!

Had a marvelous dinner here last night–Butternut Squash Ravioli was the best I’ve ever tasted. Incredible And my Ribeye was flavored in the most delectable way. No matter what you order here, you’re bound to have a delicious experience. Top that with great attentive service and a bubbly atmosphere, and it’s a great night out.

I have been to this restaurant many times when I was young as it was my dad’s favorite years ago. I haven’t been I have to say in a few years. Not sure what happened but the food was extremely salty and lacked presentation. They did mess up on our appetizer, but immediately corrected it. The only problem was they charged us for their error and had to correct that on our bill. It was so cold that night looking forward to a nice cappuccino, unfortunately the coffee tasted burned. If I have to have my choice between this family restaurant I would have to say Tarantino’s is probably better.

We hired Columbus Park Trattoria to cater our wedding on 10/25/25. Michael (the owner) was amazing to deal with. He clearly loves what he does and is an expert in his craft. Our food was delicious the day of and Michael and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with.

Consistently good Italian food. The homemade pastas are exceptional! The food is always fresh with good ingredients and flavors. The service and staff are very accommodating and friendly and expedient. The wine list is on the high side but has some very good choices. I recommend this place when in downtown Stamford.

The food was incredible. The vibe is great. The service is great. I am definitely coming back here and I highly recommend. If you’re looking for a good glass of wine and homemade ravioli and a light but sweet tiramisu, then this is where you want to have date night
