Food has got to be the best i have had in a long time very traditional and big portions. Service was great the server was amazing and did a great job of keeping my drink full and checking in on me and store was super clean and spacious. The atmosphere was very authentic.

I stopped in to try this restaurant because I was visiting another business in Danielsville. I am so glad that I did because the prices were great and the flavors were exceptional. This Mexican restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. I will definitely be back again in the future when I come through town. Well done.

They try, they just can’t handle the restaurant if there are more than 10 people inside. Food is great. Togo orders lost or forgotten easily. In house is the way to go. They told me I called the wrong place once so I called the number again and the phone rang.. lol. They try food is good I tipped them good as well. I’ll go back.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is fresh, cooked well, delicious and priced reasonably. The staff are friendly and attentive. Something on our plate was wrong. I appreciated that they immediately corrected it. Certainly a place to revisit.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the food quality and quantity each time I’ve been there, at least once a week since they opened the Danielsville location 7 miles from my house. There are 5 closer Mexican restaurants to me, but this one has won me over. Tonight I was in the mood for steak, and as most of you know, there is not a steakhouse anywhere closer than Athens. Some of the other Mex-Tex places list a steak on their menus but each place I tried I was served a thin piece of beef suitable for tacos, but not as an entree… however El Timon serves up a thick 12oz ribeye that was tasty and delicious. I’ll be back more often. Pics attached of actual steak I had tonight, normally there are onions and peppers added, but I left mine off.

Great tacos too! Stuffed full of goodness, plump full of flavor…yummy.

Dont get me wrong the food here is amazing. But the service every single time me and my family come here is TERRIBLE. I mean waiting at the table for 20 mins without menus or drinks. Just chips on the table. One waitress was standing in the corner while all the other tables sat without food also. Love this place but do better.

Fabulous FROZEN (slushy type) Margarita! (the ‘small’ is 16 oz!) Great food – good service. Please try this place and help keep it OPEN for us. It’s close by and as good as any place we’ve been much further away. They are new and need some help 🙂

We almost had the whole place to ourselves, no waiting for a table..
I chose a Carne Asada Plate and enjoyed a couple House Margaritas for $2.50 each. The Salsa was on the mild side but had good flavor, I poured it generously on the Carne Asada an stirred it into the Beans and Rice too. I’ll probably go back in the not too distant future…mmmm

We ate inside months ago and it was pretty good. But, I ordered to-go last night and was terribly disappointed. I got the chicken fajita and counted maybe 10 tiny pieces of chicken in amongst mounds of peppers & onions that had NO taste to any of it. My husband got the Enchiladas Supreme and, honestly, it was just gross; slimy even. He completely tossed it into the trash without a bite. The salsa was visually watered down and even the guacamole. I don’t like giving bad reviews and the people working there are so nice, but that was $30+ down the drain. I understand food is stupid expensive nowadays and they are probably trying to make it stretch as much as they can, but you can’t stay in business with food like this; especially when there’s a Mexican restaurant every mile in MC.
