Absolute fire! The breakfast burrito was so good, well seasoned ingredients and smothered in queso. The avocado toast was pretty acidic, but well balanced with the feta and also really good. Absolutely love the apple beignets and fresh orange juice. I’ll definitely need to return for the live jazz. Very friendly staff and cool atmosphere!

It has a wonderful atmosphere and environment. All the drinks and appetizers I tried were delicious. You can watch the outside from the tables you sit at. You can chat with your friends comfortably with soft music. Also, the staff was very cheerful and friendly. My wife and I loved it.

Great vibe and food. Very small menu, but everything was quite good. Service was just very, very slow and it wasn’t that busy.

However, if you’re not in a rush and you want a good sit-down experience, be sure to check this place out.

Neat concept. Each day there are 5 apps and 5 entrees to choose from. Personally I think it was a little over priced but the food and apps were tasty. Unique atmosphere in the restaurant as well. We had the baked avocado, pimento cheese and smoked tuna dip, the porkchop, and the ribeye. Zero complaints regarding food or service from us. Our waiter Pete took care of us and food was prepared as we requested.

I love the atmosphere and the service by the waitresses. Very attentive staff and they made my visit an absolute delight. My friend and I tried their pork chop, shrimp dish, bread pudding, coffee, and the creature comforts beer. The Shrimp and the pudding were amazing and as always the beer was top notch. However the pork chop was a little too salty which became more saltier with the Mac n cheese underneath the chop. The coffee was an absolute no!

Anyway I love the vibe in here. While the food items are a little pricey. It’s worth to visit once in a while for a some good food and a great atmosphere!

Food is a bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion. I tried the breakfast burrito and chicken and waffles. The burrito was great, no complaints and served with excellently cooked hashbrowns. The waffle was just how I like it, fluffy and crispy. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly.

FIVE is one of my favorite restaurants in Athens and consistently impresses me with the quality of the food, prompt service, and tasteful ambiance. The menu is pretty simple- 5 options in each category: appetizers, entrees, desserts, drinks, etc. I recommend the Uptown Shrimp as an appetizer, and you the burger and panéed chicken are great entree choices. However, you can never go wrong with the dry aged ribeye, my personal favorite. I personally think this is the best steak you can get in the city of Athens and compares to high-end steakhouses in Atlanta.

I’m almost at a loss for words about how wonderful and experience our dinner was at Five. The concept is as the name describes, five dishes. Five appetizers, five mains, five desserts, along with five of the favorite offerings of types of drinks.
Started with the fried green tomatoes. Perfectly fried with the best creamy goat cheese. We both chose the shrimp penne, oddly we never order the same thing, but it sounded so good and it didn’t disappoint! The shrimp and pasta were both cooked to perfection, the plate included a salad with just the right amount of dressing and a grilled lime for squeezing (AWESOME!) and the sauce? I am at a loss for words describing this! So delicious that I wanted to lick the plate! I didn’t! But I saved the garlic toast for that job!
The service was wonderful including the manager coming to the table to make sure every was as we expected. Very romantic yet casual attire. Cannot wait to try all the other four specialties!
Thank you Five, for a spectacular meal!

I travel to Athens periodically for work and always prioritize a trip to Five Bar for the Ribeye! It is so good that I, someone who would drink A-1 instead of lemonade, would never dare put it on their perfect steak.

The ribeye is served over fries, resulting in its juices dripping on the fries, giving them an amazing beef tallow taste.

The salad is topped with goat cheese, which blends well with the dried fruit with it.

I’ve had a couple other foods, but I keep coming back to the ribeye.
