This post is so friendly. The people welcome you like you are family. The food is very good and very reasonably priced too.

Update: Now they are serving breakfast in the morning and we go nearly every Sunday now before church. The food is amazing and the staff are all volunteers! If you are in the mood for a home cooked style breakfast this is the place to go.

We were visiting NH for a long weekend. Two of the more casual restaurants were closed leaving really expensive dining options. I also have a bunch of food allergies. The American Legion was a life saver. They were so nice and helpful some members and the cook came up with ideas and put together things that weren’t on the menu for me. And the price was so reasonable. I am so grateful.

Their hours are a tad confusing. They are open for breakfast 6-10 even on Mondays (I think) and their breakfast is amazing and very reasonable. I can’t remember their dinner hours. The hours on their door don’t list their breakfast hours.

I just want to say that this was the best place we ate in town. They were the most helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

Had a wonderful time here during my visit.

Pros

Good pizza
Good attentive staff
Good pricing (spent about fifty bucks) enough food and drink for four

Cons

Called and like most legions if not a member can’t drink but was pleasantly surprised to find you could after all.. almost passed on this due to that

Give it a try and review this place yourself 🙂

We went for the every Friday fish fry. It’s open to the public and honestly the fish is phenomenal!!! One piece dinner is like 10.00 add 3.75 I believe for each extra piece of fish.

Cheap food. Great people. I have no complaints. I’I noticed my burger bun was also grilled on the griddle those crunchy edges make it even better.

Hometown, making veterans feel appreciated for there service to our country. No staggering drunks, no cussing at the bar. Good food. Making you feel at home.

They have a fish special on Fridays that we go for. Good food, and good service. It’s not usually too busy so we are waited on and served promptly.
