We came across this place a few months ago while driving by. I’m not sure why this place has a 4.6-star rating! Their food is some of the best authentic Mexican food you’ll ever have! I have a very picky husband, and he knows and loves to cook, so he knows exceptional food when he tastes it. He loves the food so much that he doesn’t mind the drive from Upland, CA, to this place—almost an hour’s drive! I love the softness of their barbacoa and the taste! We have ordered the asada fries. They use shredded cheese instead of the nacho cheese some other taco places use, which is not at all bad! The taste of the asada meat makes a huge difference! They do not short us on the meat; the burritos and tacos are packed with meat. I usually get my burrito without beans. I had carpal tunnel surgery, and I couldn’t hold my burrito with my hand because it was too heavy! Delicious! We Highly recommend this place! Our drive home will be chaotic, being that it’s Friday, but the food was worth every traffic headache!

I was hungry and had 50 min before my test started ( At Cerritos college) so i came to this place. I told the lady what I wanted and food came out in less than 10 min. The best thing about this experience was that the food came out quick, the taste was amazing, and I wasn’t late for my test.

This is my go-to spot for taqueria. The food is authentic. I usually get the carne asada burrito. The portion is big for the price you pay. Great value. Did I mention the food is delicious?!
They also have a taco Tuesday special combo. 2 tacos with rice and beans, and a drink for just $8.
The owner and staff are all very friendly.

A nice little restaurant in a busy area that can be overlooked. Food is good and service is polite. Tried a couple breakfast burritos this visit. The tortillas seemed so fresh a little flour came off them. Portion of the burritos were a good value for the money. Salsas and condiments offered accompanied everything well. Recommend for more than breakfast burritos, think they even sell prepared meats by the pound.

The tacos are on regular size corn tortillas, not small ones. I got the pastor and they were delicious. Will definitely be back. Just wish they had pickled onions and radishes.

I stopped by this passed Saturday on 3/11, this place is definitely one of Norwalks hidden gems. If I remember correctly this place switched owners and restaurant was revamped to what it is now. My wife was craving some Mexican food, that wouldn’t cost and arm and a leg. Saw they had good reviews decided to give a shot, was not disappointed. The place is small but really cozy, definitely gave off rancho type vibes a big plus was the old school Vicente Fernandez movie playing. Customer service was beyond great ! I think it was the owner or manager not too sure was checking in on us the whole time making sure we were satisfied giving friendly vibes. He saw my daughter eating rice off the table informed him she’s not a fan of plates. He brought over a sheet with rice and tortilla with beans at no cost. She loved it! To eat we had the carnitas plate and asada torta. Everything was fresh and delicious. Food came out fast, restaurant filled up quick but as fast as it filled up the customers were taken care of and gone. Will definitely be coming back. They also offer discounts / specials for Cerritos colleges students .
