Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Me and my family went to the Alabama / Tennessee game this past weekend RTR. We love Whataburger, so decided to stop in and grab a bite after the game. The line was long, however, the ordering process was very efficient. After we placed our order, we went to the lobby area to wait for our number to be called. During this time my 13 year old son had to use the bathroom. Unfortunately, the restrooms were locked, and the staff wouldn’t allow anyone to use them. I would understand this process if it wasn’t a controlled environment where by people could just walk in randomly, however, the only way to get into this Whataburger was to place an order, which we did. As such, one would think that a paying customer would have access to the restrooms??? We inquired with the staff on multiple occasions, and asked kindly even offering to pay to use the restroom. After several inquiries the dial a cop showed up, no clue why as we were being very kind, and asked us to not inquire about using the restrooms again. What a ridiculous policy the owner and / or manager has put in place for paying customers. Just put a sign out front saying that your restrooms are for staff only, and not available to paying customers, then see what happens.
I will never go back to this Whataburger again. Stay away from this socialist, leftist establishment.

The food is always good and comes out pretty fast. Their milkshake machine is often out of order, but when it is working the milkshakes are amazing.

Quick to order with kiosks or cashier. Limited seating. Some seating outdoors. Parking almost always available around back. Burgers were better than most fast food and come loaded with lettuce, large tomatoes, and pickles.

First time being to a Whataburger being from Michigan, and could not have had a better experience. Food was phenomenal, and the only thing better was the service. Manager came out and talked to us and was very nice and elevated the experience. This was perhaps the best dining experience I have ever had in my life. Will be coming again, 11/10

Two because we love Whataburger. Customer service was trash— from the moment we walked in I should have known. Then, 3 employees yelled at my husband because he asked for a piece of cheese for my kids burger. Lol.

Great service, was welcomed in. Everyone was very personable and made us feel comfortable and taken care of while we waited. And the burger was great!

I enjoy the efficiency of this location. Management takes an active role in helping customers with any issues, and in general the workers have been very kind. This is the great Whataburger experience I’m used to as a Texas native

New complaint… they don’t open until 10 am? Went to get a honey butter chicken biscuit before work today because I got one for free as a birthday reward, just to find out that 24/7 no longer means 24/7

The burgers are great, the fries aren’t but only because I dislike the little style.

Slow, you will wait way longer than you would expect even for fresh cooked burgers.

Employees are hit or miss but I seem to mainly get rude ones. I watch them with other customers and they are rude them too
