This was our second time dining at Honey Tree Grille in Northville. I ordered the Apricot Salmon Salad and it was very good! The portion size of the salmon was 6-7 oz, which is a bigger portion than I usually get at other restaurants for more money. My husband had the salmon dinner with blackened salmon. All in all, the food was great and the value was very good! The only recommendation I would make for this restaurant is to stock a wider variety of wine. They only had 1 make of the Red Wine and 3 red wine options: Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Merlot. What also strikes me as odd is that we came around 7pm both times and we were only 1 of 2 or 3 customers. Last night we were there on a Sunday night, but the other night was either a Friday or Saturday night. Maybe this restaurant is busier for lunch crowds. We actually enjoy restaurants that are much busier because of the food turnover, the atmosphere and the psychological input that ‘it must be a great restaurant’ if it’s always busy. I hope they can get more customers on a regular basis. The value for what you pay is very good.

My family frequents Honey Tree, but I’ve only been a few times. My most recent visit was a gals’ night out, two adults and one eleven year old. The food was great (lemon rice soup, gyro supreme, chicken shawarma, Greek salad). The manager is a charismatic man, and he definitely did NOT ask me to say that he was “very nice and also jacked”.
But really, he was very nice and handsome, and he made us laugh and we chatted about our tattoos and he sent me home with a fresh to-go salad.
And thank you to our sweet server for my Barq’s root beer ;).

The food was PHENOMENAL!! I had a Very Berry Crepe and it was the best decision I made that day. The Mozzarella Sticks were okay, definitely felt store bought, but it wasn’t anything that I’d hammer too hard at all. Apart from that, the food was fresh and tasted amazing. Note: there was a bit of a wait for the food, but the service more than made up for it. There was constant checking on us, engaging conversations with the staff, and an overall warm and welcoming environment. This place gets a hardy 4.3 stars from me! Keep up the great work!

I highly recommend the Sunday Brunch buffet. They have traditional breakfast options like: scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage, hashbrowns, French toast, pancakes, and biscuits with white gravy. They also have an omelette and crepe station with many toppings to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the lunch options: Greek (or garden) salad, rice, chicken skewers, sausage and peppers, mac and cheese, and chicken in a cream sauce. I also really enjoyed the rice pudding on the dessert table.
Having sampled some of what this restaurant has to offer, I will be back!

I did not like having a huge monitor on FOX News. In these times of such decisiveness a business should not be political. I won’t go back until they change this. I almost left and now I wish I would have. I did say something to our server and they said it was the owner and nothing could be done.

A decent diner-esque spot, greek focused, with beer/wine/alcohol.
The chicken Caesar salad wasn’t great. The salad seemed to be the outer leaves of the romaine head so they were tough and bitter. Add to the fact that the sauce wasn’t tossed with it and was super thick and off-tasting.
The Alamo skillet hit the spot for Barret. The sauce on top was creamy and smokey.
The chili was well-seasoned, hot, and delicious.
The pancake for little B was cute, but the bacon was tough and chewy. Overall, she enjoyed it.

Great quality food in an upscale environment, despite having reasonable pricing. Nice staff adds to the experience, as you enjoy astonishingly refined recipes. I’m looking forward to going back!

The food was ok; about what you’d expect from a diner-class restaurant. Had a Greek salad, gyro & fries. It’s been a long while since I’ve experienced service that actually made me uncomfortable. Dined solo. I ordered around 7:20p. Closing posted as 9p. I was not the only one there. It was as if these two waitresses wanted to rush me out of there to close up and leave. Plates cleared at the moment of the last forkful. Half a plate of fries removed while still working on them. Check brought before I could order dessert and again before ordering carry-out for a family member. “Is there anything else I can get you?” “Yes, please: some more napkins.” She brought one paper napkin (in addition to the one in which my knife & fork had been wrapped). Clearly not a place to dine leisurely and catch up on the news.
