Had a great dinner here! Very chic and cozy interior, and everything tasted delicious. Many options for vegans, vegetarians, and more dietary restrictions, but also plenty of options for those who eat anything. They were very welcoming to kids too, with elevated versions of kid-friendly meals like mac and cheese on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!

This is not a vegan restaurant but it has so many vegan options that all vegans and vegetarians would be excited to out. We had the soup of the day, the sourdough bread and a garlic almond spread to start. It was all excellent, full of flavor, bread was warm with a good crust. Then we had the kale salad with caramelized onions and spicy hazelnuts with the feta cheese on the side ( because my vegetarian husband eats cheese) and the fricasee of wild mushrooms in a wonderful coconut milk sauce. And we also had the Crispy tofu skewers with peanut butter and pistachio and cilantro sauce – yummm!
We were too full to even consider dessert. But they do have vegan desserts on the menu. The restaurant is an 11 minute drive from the center of Kennebunkport where we were staying. No problem at all if you have a car. The decor is lovely, warm and upmarket, and the service was very good too. Highly recommended!

If we were able to, we would be coming here routinely. It’s got a great vibe, and the food is top notch. We had a hard time limiting what we wanted to order (we’re not local, so we wanted to order almost everything). We had egg rolls, the sourdough bread with this delicious olive oil, Brussels sprouts, and a salad. And a Samoan stew with this citrusy basmati rice. Everything was really, very good. If there was a cookbook I would’ve bought one on the way out. I didn’t even mention the sorbet and blueberry with oat crumble…

We had a lovely experience at Bandaloop for dinner. To start, we had the stuffed sour dough bread which was fantastic. For our meals, we had the pork chop, grilled chicken, salmon, and the Mac & cheese. We all enjoyed our meals as they had great flavors and were the perfect portion. Lastly, for the finale, we had the deep dish fudge brownie – which was so delicious! Can’t wait to come back here.

Very vegan/vegetarian-forward. Lovely setting. A favorite! The hemp seed veggie burger is a must try, even if you’re a vegan sick of veggie burgers. It’s different and amazing.

Second time we have been here and it did not disappoint! Every bite of food was fresh and flavorful! The sourdough bread and their butter, both delectable. After the mushroom ceviche we were pretty full but my partner got the Halibut special and I had the burger. He had a bite of my burger and said it was honestly one of the best he has ever had, I have to agree! Also love the variety of mocktails and the atmosphere is wonderful!

Amazing. Every dish. Every bite. No exaggeration. As a person who explores food quite often. This is my new #1. Thank you Paul for the great service, and Scott for the insanely good croissants along with everything else we enjoyed.

My fiance took me here for my birthday. The service was wonderful and such a beautiful space (love all the plants). We ordered the yaki onigiri as a starter and absolutely loved it. I had the vegan Mac & cheese dish which was super tasty. My favorite part was having a vegan dessert option, but we were too full to order it…next time!

Bandaloop is truly the only place in the KBK/KPT/Arundel orbit that really caters to vegeterians, vegans, GF individuals but that also otherwise has a great menu for carnivores and generally provides outstanding dining experience. Because of that, it is my go to stop with my mother in law who is celiacs, as well as my personal favorite special occasion spot.
The interior is very Maine rustic; I think the space they are in is an old barn. Its really beautiful, with a giant fireplace in the middle that is so fun to sit at.
The menu isn’t enormous but it is almost all excellent. Stand outs for us have always been the Yaki Ogniri Rice cakes, the egg rolls, the salmon, the fricassee mushrooms and the haddock. The Samoan stew is the only dish that has left us underwhelmed; everything else has been outstanding. A while back they USED to have a “Bandaloop Salad” with warm spinach, carmelized onions, blistered cherry tomoatoes, pine nuts, blanched broccoli, sheeps milk feta with some incredible house vinaigrette that I miss TERRIBLY; it was one of my favorite salads in the world. I have tried with modest success to reproduce it at home, but its just not the same. I hope they see fit to bring it back someday!
Prices are excellent for the area, easily 30% or more less than Kennebunkport for comparable dishes and atmospheres (and truly better food generally speaking). Very worth the drive from that part of town.
My only complaint about the “new” Bandaloop as opposed to their old location is that its awfully loud in certain spots. I think that if they did some noise mitigation under tables and on ceilings it would make for a 5* experience.

This place was amazing. Lovely people, super friendly. Customer service based experience from start to finish.
I had the brussel sprouts, the egg rolls, a quesadilla, and a fresh hand-pie. It was all amazing. My dinner date and I went from dish to dish and our sentiment was the same…”mmmmm this is good!”
Food was spot-on delicious.
No complaints, will return. Very vegan/vegetarian friendly.
