This place is always pumping. They don’t always have food, but when they do, it is surprisingly good. Their drink specials are a must try and their prices are unbeatable to be honest. Fairly cheap. Gaby is the GOAT bartender, her drinks are so good!

Absolutely love coming to this place. They have an amazing selection of bourbons at very reasonable prices. The burgers are thick juicy and served with an amazing sauce. If you’re in the hot dogs you’re in for a delight here! The staff is very friendly and accommodating . We recommend all our friends either come with us I’ll go there on their own.

We had celebrated my Nanny’s,77th birthday here.
Honestly It was my 2nd time here & LOVED BOTH TIMES. Played pool , loved that huge / The darts were very nice too. I Love the patio. Spent 3 hrs here. HAD A GOOD TIME. (FYI I suggest coming here for Halloween costume contest – That was my 1st time and FULL BAR / INSIDE & OUT) HAD A BLAST danced the night away) If I could change 1 thing I’d add more independent artist to the jukebox! I know they can I worked at a bar had the same company jukebox!

OVERALL I can’t wait to go to The backyard again. Day or night it’s A GREAT ATMOSPHERE! Certainly going to try to win The Halloween contest 2024! Wish me luck lol
I’d recommend The backyard bar, to anyone of any age group 21-30 30 -40 & even 70 plus my Nanny, Aunts, Uncle’s & My Grandpa,94yrs old didn’t drink alcohol but he enjoyed kicking butt on that pool table.
Definitely check this place out ! It’s a Winner to me!
Also indoors is spacious with large dance floor, stage, perfect lighting nice table’s, OH the and dart boards are professional.Love the Dart board section. 2 pool tables, I remembered a foosball table for the October 2023 Halloween Costume Contest & Party sure. Didnt see one for the PartyAug10th2024 ?
Oh I do have 1 tiny thing to ask the owner “CAN YOU PLEASE GET A LADIES BATHROOM” I’m sure your aware it’s a little small. If you need help with ideas, I’m ya girl. My husband’s, a Ace plumber! My son’s a perfectionist, he transforms- remodels homes & businesses indoors and outdoors!
I’m not saying anything bad about your bar, I’m just giving advice on the bathrooms!

Great food, large patio, lots of seating inside as well. 4-5 dart boards, 2 pool tables, large U shaped bar, tons of TVs, DJ stage for weekends, few poker machines, TouchTunes Jukebox. Just had first Steak night this past Thursday Night! Check out their Facebook for events. Impressed a chalmette, seemingly dive bar is actually very accommodating with full seasonal cocktail menus & small ViP section to elevate your party experience. Will be very crowded more so at night & weekends so day shift is a great options to relax & get some quiet to work on your laptop, read, etc while being able to enjoy seasonal cocktail list with bartender. Decent selection of beer & liquor variety for Da Parish. They open at 11am. Always decorated for season too. Said they’ll be very crowded for after party of Chalmette Knights of Knemesis Parade

Went to this bar with some friends. Was there for 30 minutes to an hour and had two drinks before being followed to the bathroom by one of the bartenders I hadn’t interacted with who demanded I give her my ID. I said okay, confused, and she came back to the bathroom a minute later aggressively telling me it was fake and I needed to leave. I have a Florida license, I’m 21 years old, it was my real license. I asked her how they thought it was fake, and she claimed the owner had scanned it and it was fake and again aggressively told me to leave or they would call the police. I went back to my friends and asked one of them to close out our tab because they were making me leave, and the bartender and owner approached me together and continued aggressively telling me I needed to leave immediately or they would call the police, while I told them I was waiting to get my tab closed out. I honestly wish I had just had them call the cops so they could have ACTUALLY scanned my ID and straightened the whole thing out, because the way I was treated was literally ridiculous. Management was incredibly unprofessional, and there is no way they scanned or made any real attempt to verify my ID, on top of giving me no opportunity to verify it myself with any additional documentation or anything. Absolutely ridiculous, have never been treated like that before in my life.
