Y’all the food is so good! And the friendly service is even better. Please note everything is prepared fresh to order so expect to wait 20 mins or so depending on what you order, but it’s worth it. The catfish was crispy & well seasoned. The greens are delicious & not cooked to death. The yams are sweet but not insanely syprupie (if that’s a word ) The smothered pork chop is fire! With crispy fried okra & mac & cheese. And did we mention free Kool aid. Oh and the peach cobbler is incredible and plenty to share for 3 people tbh.

The fried catfish was flawless, by far the best catfish I’ve ever eaten! Deliciously seasoned and delicately fried, so not heavy or overly battered, it was amazing. The smothered pork chop was tender, rich, and delicious, the kind of chop that tells you someone in the kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing and isn’t in a hurry to prove it. And the sides were all stars in their own right: fried okra, potato salad, collard greens, and mashed potatoes with gravy, all pure comfort. We will be back again and again and again.

First time visiting Ray Dubbz! I got the burger and fries along with Kool-Aid that Ray gives you upon purchase (that Kool-Aid really brought me back to some good childhood memories).
The burger was THICK and so, so good. Fries were seasoned well and they give you huge portions. The wait takes a little bit, but that should be expected and appreciated for homemade food! Ray is genuinely so nice- the hospitality is 10/10. I will be back!

The food was a 10/10! We got buffalo wings with lemon pepper sprinkles and regular lemon pepper. Fried okra was crispy and good, and the kool-aid was super refreshing. Everything was made fresh. Ray was very welcoming and made the whole experience even better. He gave us cold water while we waited and even gave my little sister a popsicle to help her stay cool. We’ll definitely be back!
