This place is not what you’d expect from the outside! It’s beautifully decorated with a full menu of Columbian food and bakery items. The empanadas were fantastic, and the meat is incredible. Check it out and get some culture!

best empenadas in Gastonia. they’re almost the size of my hand, and with the salsa it’s some real intense flavor. open very early, friendly service. it is helpful to know some Español, but they do a good job of communicating beyond the language barrier.

First, let me say that I am grateful to have experienced traditional columbian food. I’ve never had red beans and rice, but it was really good, the plantain was excellent! The steak was really good too, I loved the grill makes and the burnt charred taste you get when you eat it. I will be going back to try other foods.

I want to start this review by saying that I am Colombian and it is very hard to find good or even decent Colombian food however I am so impressed and so happy with this restaurant. My husband and I kept it traditional with a Bandeja Paisa and a Picada and both delicious! The rice, the meats all packed with amazing flavors that remind you of a home cooked meal!!

I’ve had the cazuela de mariscos, the rice with seafood, the mixed platter and the bandeja paisa. Each time the food has been really good the atmosphere is comfy and friendly. The owner and staff are very polite and helpful. The bakery items are fresh and delicious.

Okay! Where do I start? I absolutely love their passion fruit juice (made with water), it’s so refreshing. Their empanadas are great. They have some pastries. I like that I can call ahead. And… I really like their churros!
