Airy, quaint eatery serving Neapolitan- & Sicilian-style pizza plus other Italian & American mains.

A lot of what we ordered didn’t have any flavor. It was still okay, but I needed to add salt to everything. The restaurant is quiet small, but it’s cute, and it wasn’t crowded when we went. The service was okay, they didn’t talk to us or tell us how we are doing. I don’t know if it was because English isn’t their first language. I didn’t have a horrible time, but I don’t think my family and I will be attending again with the food being moderate but the price being expensive.

We went here just for dessert and it was amazing! Homemade chocolate mousse, apple pie a la mode, and carrot cake, topped with fluffy, not-too-sweet homemade whipped cream. And the staff was funny and kind. Thank you for a great time. 🙂
It was also quiet and peaceful on a Saturday around 3pm. Cozy environment with fun Italian music.

I ordered a small cheese pizza and chocolate mousse for delivery. It took an hour to arrive and the pizza was cold. When I called to ask for a credit or refund the person was extremely unhelpful and uncooperative. She first said there was no way it could be cold, and then went on to explain that they’re very busy that’s why the delivery window is 30-45 min, which I said I understood, but that it took 60min, and she again tried to explain it away as it was my fault. After some back and forth, she offered a new free pizza, but I needed to come get it because they’re “too busy and can’t spare a driver to deliver ANOTHER pizza.” I explained I can’t pick up a pizza which is why I got delivery, and after some even more back and forth she said I needed to call the online ordering company for the refund. Overall it was an extremely unpleasant experience. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the chocolate mousse is very tasty.

I just left there so this is a fresh review.
TL;DR: pizza is horrible. Think tombstone pizza. Pricey too for less than average food.
A. I sat down and tried to confirm about the days special they have on the menu board. There was confusion on her part, then she said she’d ask, came back and denied what was on the board outside. Said, it was for a different day, then said don’t worry, I’ll take that off the check entirely. We were pleasantly surprised.
B. My 12oz Stella comes in an at least 20oz mug. This looked extremely doofy.
C. Our pizzas came, think tombstone pizza, tasted exactly like it too. Like it was that frozen crust you add water too. Both had a cardboard texture. I like pepperoni but there was seriously maybe 40 slices of it on the pizza.
D. Server came back Midway through the meal and said sorry, I have to give you half off one of the free pizzas promised earlier. We said ok…check comes, she doesn’t take anything off and charged full price. By this point we just wanted to leave.

Nice decor. Good service. Food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price. Presentation was fine, but small and not worth $20. Worst of all, my chicken picatta was made with 3-4 chicken tenders, not a chicken breast. I have never ever had chicken picatta this way. I am someone who never writes reviews, but I feel like I just wasted my money.

It is a beautiful restaurant with nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. However the food was not fresh. The fresh mozzarella salad was not so fresh at all. The white pizza with thin crispy crust was saturated in oil and dripping with it. All that oil made it soggy and not so crispy anymore it lacked taste as well

This place has been destroyed by new management. It was the best deep dish Resturant in the area. Geppettos was the original Resturant, grew up in the area and was really the best pizza you can find! They were so good, the White House during Clinton years ordered and Geppetos was the caterer. Every beginning has an end 🙁

Review, as the old saying goes, I guess all good things must come to an end! After years of counting on Geppetto’s pizza to deliver good quality pizza in the Montgomery County, Maryland area that has now vanished. While over the years, the quality of the pizza has gone downhill, along with the quantity of toppings, their price has continued to climb up-hill…. Can you say over priced!!! What has really changed over the years is their quality of service or should I say lack there of….. Here is a prime example….Sunday, October 6th, 2013 I place an order for one large cheese pizza at 6:37PM. At 8:03PM I call Geppetto’s and inquire about the status of my order. Not even saying they are sorry for the delay they tell me that the pizza is on its way. I live less than 2 miles from Geppetto’s in Bethesda, MD at 8:34PM still nothing….So I call back again and inquire about the order, they give me the same answer….it is out for delivery…OK you old me that 30 minutes ago…So it has now been 2 hours to deliver one large cheese pizza 2 miles… So they connect me to the manager that tells me they are busy and she takes my number down and tells me that she will call me back right away with an answer. Still 24 hours later no call back or no pizza delivered…just left me high and dry…… Now would you be happy with that type of service? So in the future if you are looking for some place to eat or delivery service…just say NO to Geppetto’s and save yourself the hassle…… What was once a good place to eat and order food has slid downhill past the ranks of Pizza Hut!

Horrible delivery experience. They were 1 hour late, delivering 2 hours after ordered placed. They lied to me about the driver having already left when I called after one hour. They refused to take responsibility for their mistake. They tried to blame the driver when they provided an incorrect address.
PS — After refusing to during the delay and at delivery, they finally called back 30 mins later to apologize and cancel the charges.

Riding off their former glory would be a suitable title and designation for this establishment, when you enter the restaurant you are greeted by antiquated pictures of Bill Clinton eating here in days more than likely a decade past. The menu touts they once served a meal at the White House, a far echo from the now nearly deserted restaurant I am sitting in. The word Italian may perhaps be a mis-nomenclature as most of the menu is bland and toned down, it appears the chef has forgotten the organic definition of the word “Al Dente”. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and was greeted by a loose and water logged sauce spread over what look to be lumped pasta. The meal was edible, but wasn’t justified by the upscale prices. I will say that the free roll of bread they present you with helps keep you busy during the extensive period you will be waiting for service – – even in this mostly empty dining room. Perhaps they should consider waiters who have at least demonstrated somewhat of a proficiency in the English language?
