Here is an unexpected little gem! We weren’t expecting much having just escaped from a much-touted (by the tourist marketers) village store up the road, where am owner’s dog was running around inside and my husband was bitten by a fly–inside the store/restaurant with open food. So we tried Kendalls and were not disappointed! Excellent fresh food, very friendly service and freshly home-made potato chips! My number one criterion is, is this restaurant clean? and it was–as a whistle. Will come again, and thanks for rescuing a pleasant lunch for us.

Great service and excellent food. Pancakes the size of dinner plates, herb seasoned homefries that are to die for, and omelets that are not shy with the toppings. We will definitely be returning in the future 🙂

Great food at very reasonable prices. Nice environment and staff. I do recommend it especially, in the quaint little village of Saxtons River. Plus it’s an easy place to stop and eat of you are on the way to Grafton.
