I bought a catfish dinner and a shrimp dinner. The shrimp dinner was OK. The catfish dinner was far from it. First of all it was not catfish. It was tilapia and it was fried so long that it was like tearing paper cardboard apart.. I should’ve probably got my money back on the catfish dinner unfortunately I will not be ordering from this establishment again really sad. I like a good catfish fillet even ordered extra one for three dollars and all I got was tilapia burnt up fillets. note this was delivery.

I got the catfish nugget meal with fries and Cole slaw and a side of fried okra. Everything was really good. Only issue I had was I didn’t get pickles, only onions, and that is not really an issue. Haven’t been to Mother’s in about 20 something years. Glad I came. Look forward to coming back.

Ok where do I start ….because customer service is extremely important to me I’ll start there…the young lady at the counter had a nice-nasty yet extremely non chalant representation ,the music was a little loud therefore it made it hard for me to place my order or her to hear me well. Although food prices have went up pretty much everywhere I did feel as though the cake prices were a tad bit ridiculous (8.00 per slice )the fish I got looked as if it had been cut in half (catfish filet ) it was smaller than what I’m used to and the okra slightly under cooked. Shrimp was ok and the fries were good. I didn’t have a long wait so that was a plus. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Not like they used to be can’t say that I’ll return to be honest. I feel like people should be welcoming when you are spending money in their establishments and not make one feel like we bothering them.

Ordered the tripe and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had. Great customer service and after sitting to eat they even turned the music on. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant offers a salmon burger. The salmon is a fillet and they refuse to let you buy it without the bread if you want to. Same price, just no bread is what the customer wanted.Which is insane!!!

I never asked for the salmon on a bed of rice. I asked if I could I get the salmon burger without a bun and purchase a side. I even asked if I could purchase the burger and remove the bread myself. The establishment still refused to service me. To add, as you took the time to respond to me and say what you won’t do, respond to those who said your food was trash!

Great fresh fish like I remember as a child. The trip sandwich is crispy and crunchy could use a little seasoning but absolutely delicious. The service is sweet and courteous. Thankful this new location is in North County.
